I love this place. Sensei Rivera really cares about his students and wants them all to be successful. The coaching is excellent and the class sizes are perfect. I highly recommend to anyone looking to get into MMA.

This is a great activity to build confidence and fitness. There is a lot of personal attention and continue to be fun and engaging.

We highly recommend this dojo. There is a family-friendly atmosphere and the kids love the classes. There is an anti-bullying program and they organize great parties for kids.

Excellent experience, wonderful with kids, motivational, kind and professional. You will learn more than just martial arts.

The staffs and the instructors at Tiger Schulmann's are friendly and understanding. The kids learn to be more confident, discipline and believe in themselves. There karate classes are great and if the kids would like to take karate I recommend Tiger Schulmann's.

I've been training with Sensei Jimmy Rivera and Joshu Prentice at the Gramercy Park location since 2014. Within months of training I noticed having greater balance, toned arms and a stronger core.

I'm impressed by how quickly the school pivoted to offering online classes shortly after the COVID-19 forced closure. First, through free YouTube videos, and then quickly spinning up classes via zoom.

I'm super happy to continue advancing my skills at home, and particularly pleased with myself for gaining better control of the combination jump kick to spinning back kick.all in my small NYC apartment! Can't wait to try this technique when we're all back on the mat!

My 8 year old daughter has been training with TS (Gramercy) for a little over a year now. I believe this program is extremely valuable for all ages and especially for children. My daughter is learning disciplines such as focus, self control, moral growth and the strengthening of her body. TSG is now a way of life for my child and a place where she can go, learn, and grow. The Sensei there runs a wonderful and professional program which would definitely benefit any child by building their confidence and strength. Lastly, can't forget the staff who are very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Today we feel very lucky to be a part of the TS Gramercy family and would not give it up for the world. I’ve been training for a few years. This was the best decision I’ve made. I love training and how I feel after. The staff/instructors are all so helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very family oriented. I recommend Tiger Schulmann’s for anyone looking to relive stress, get in the best shape ever and self defense.

It is an awesome place! Trainers are super super friendly and willing to do anything for their students, even getting hurt. Feel so bad for hurting them sometimes, but they are genuinely okay with it as long as I learn something. Awesome!

The staff here is simply awesome. Everyone from Sensei Jim, the Joshu's, and those working the floor are not only great instructors, but exceptional people. I'm proud that my daughter decided to train here and I wouldn't want it any other way. I HIGHLY recommend trying a class if one is interested.

Tiger Schulmann is a great school for everyone. No matter what age you are. My son has been coming here for 3 years and continuing. My son has learn so much. Before Tiger Schulman, my son use to get picked on. But after 3 years of training at this school, his self-confidence have all increased considerably. He defends himself, not physically but verbally. Which is a plus for me and I love it!
Everyone who is a student at this school, has the opportunity to participate in tournament style competitions (challenge of the champion) through-out the year in Jersey. When my son went to his first COC, he was very nervous and he was doubting himself he wouldn’t win. He guessed wrong. He didn’t make it to the top three, but he was so proud of himself that he knew deep down, he did great!
Overall, this is a place to have a great a work-out, defensive skills that emulate mixed martial arts as well and seeking to be a part of something bigger. You will definitely feel like part of a TSMA family. Everyone is treated the same and will learn the same. Best Tiger Schulmann school my son and I ever been too. One last thing that i have to mention, this Tiger Schulman school has great instructors/staff that once you enter the school, they always greet us with a smile on their face. The way they teach and speak to their students, you know they want them to learn and see each one improve on them selves and in life in general.

Happy to be part of this gym and this family. The instructors are serious about what they do but they also want to see you succeed.
