Cool little wildlife management area. Great for birding with a mix of swamp, riparian, hardwood, and open scrub land. There's also some decent hiking trails, and fishing in a few ponds

Great place to run, especially right now. The reeds or whatever those 12 foot swamp weeds are create a tunnel to run through or walk which is fun.

Beautiful place for walking and fishing and enjoying the nature. Too dangerous to swim in the water there. Also if you follow Shisler Rd through the fields you will come up to an old service garage. See Google satellite map and look for it. Looks to be maybe from years ago for the Lancaster speedway. Some old oil wells also. Careful of the terrain through the fields and bees and lots of mosquitoes.

Nice place for a quiet hike, but could use some upkeep. Luckily we hiked when it was dry but I can imagine this area being incredibly muddy most of the time.

Verry nice park and wildlife preserve. One of the better things of living out here in Clarence rather than the city of Buffalo. Has bike paths or you can just take a walk and sit in solitude to think and get away from it all on wooden park benches that are provided. We all need to do that now and then. That particular day that I went there a gust of wind blew up at about 70 miles an hour and blew my tote bag away and my mask away. A lady retrieved my bag, but I lost my mask. I hope they keep the park up for future generations.

A good walk, not a great walk. Other places with prettier scenery, and the nearby racetrack was.distracting.

Alot of trails, but not well marked. Hiked for about 5 miles. Nice boardwalks and several ponds along the way.

Calling all nature lovers! Simply beautiful, very annoyed at people that leave garbage on the ground so bring a bag if you are like me.a true nature lover that unfortunately has to clean up after others.

Beautiful park, it is a wildlife reserve so the trails and ponds are not maintained very frequently but this is no issue to any true outdoorsman. Beautiful bluegill small mouth and large in all of the ponds. (Strongly recommend bobbers here)

Really nice place wooden walkways many trails. I have to come back when it's cooler, the heat is bad for me. Everyone else enjoy the sun and solitude. Mike

Great place for a hike or swim. Great views with lots of trails! There are small trails and ones that span one half that leads to the other (you have to cross a street or you can turn down another tail.) Do be aware of your heading you may get lost. While I was there I saw someone fishing so there's probably a nice bite as well!

Nature trails, a short boardwalk, small ponds with clear water. Possibly shortage of parking during busy times. Siteings of wild animals if you go early. Some road noise not actually wilderness but easily accessable. Good place for dogs. Will be back. May be lots of pesky insects, bring repellant.

Nice place for a walk. The ponds used to be a good place to fish (25 years ago) but that's a "has been" now. There was nothing but a few tiny 2 inch sunnies as of the '90s so I stopped fishing there. A massive fish die off years ago put an end to any opportunity to catch anything at any of the ponds. There is a huge marsh and unmarked trails that go most of the way around it. Not much else to see. No bathrooms. No picnic areas. No playground. Just a tangled network of trails without names. It will probably remain a nice place if Everyone helps keep it from getting trashed out. If you bring it in (or even if you don't). Take it out. It would be an even nicer place if it had a bigger parking lot or there was parking along the street on Tilman or maybe another entry point.

Nice out of the way place to take a walk. You can bring your dog but keep it on leash and pick up after it.

This is a great place to take a walk. You can make it short or as long as you would like.there are plenty of things to discover here. I like to ride my mountain bike through all the wooded paths. Or I have snowshoed and crosscounty skied here I almost always get to meet interesting people along the way. What ever time of year. You are almost guaranteed to get to see some wildlife along the trails.

I stopped there this winter one day always heard about this place but the day I stopped it was really icy on the trails and I only had sneakers on so I did not walk much of it. But from what I did walk it was very nice found a pond that was frozen over all the trails seemed to be well taken care of. I will be stopping back this coming summer for another walk thru there.

Nice walk if it is not buggy. I park just past where Wherle turns into Shishler. I usually go to the left and eventually you will come tillman road and if you cross you can continue the loop. Stay to the left the whole way around and you will end up back at your car. Alltrails app has a nice map.
