T.J. Maxx, New Hyde Park NY

First time - Most disorganized /messy TJ Maxx I've visited. Ridiculously long check out line time & only 2 cashiers. 2nd visit didn't go any better. Won't be returning.

It doesn’t matter when you go there never enough people working the registers so prepare for it. I’ve stopped going entirely because of this after going many times. Don’t waste my time.

TJMaxx has really changed. Lots of odds and ends clothes, no real designer bargains. Lots of after season pieces. So disappointed. I never used to be able to leave the store without a cart full of bargains.
Have noticed a real decline over the last 2-3 years.

The greeter at the door was amazing, she offered to take a picture of me and my family, and I thought that was super sweet. Sometimes the I feel TJ Maxx's prices are too high, so I shop clearance center only, and boy was it a mess. It was 7PM so I'll forgive them a bit. Parking is great and it wasn't so busy. Stop in, but don't expect to be blown away by the prices.

The lines are almost always super long. Never have enough registers open. It's hit or miss. One week it will be so picked over that some isles are empty and the next week the same isle is packed with items.

Great location. Plenty of items to sort through! The home decor items are great and even better when you can find a deal. They usually have a great selection bedding and pillows. Lots of clothes to sift through.sometimes the place can be messy. Shoes are ok. Great place for gift ideas. Never can find anyone to help on the floor. Customer services can be better. Some of the cashiers at the register can have a better attitude and be pleasant. Over all a decent store with lots of good deals.

I've been to this location many times before and was usually okay with it. Not one of the better locations. Unfortunately it seems as though their inventory is unusually low. Last visited on 7/30/20.

There was an issue with a misplaced item that was purchased in the New Hyde Park store. After speaking with the manager, Charles, the entire
problem was solved in the most efficient, friendly and compassionate
manner. He is truly a professional and TJ Maxx is lucky to have him manage that store. He cares about the customers and makes shopping there a pleasure. I will recommend family and friends to shop there since I experienced wonderful customer service. I hope by writing this review
someone in upper management lets him know how appreciative I am
of his excellent service. My sincerest thanks Charles - you're the BEST.

Ever had to count the tiles on the ceiling by waiting on line too long? Yeah that was me I counted about 69 before I got to the front of the line. But shout out to Antonella the cashier. She mad me laugh and made that whole experience worth it

Very nice store with a lot of selections
I have to mention one employee in the home department her name is Rada and she is wonderful so helpful I watch her work so hard and so pleasant with the customers

This tj Maxx is not very well organized or clean. It's not awful but I prefer to go to a different one if possible.

Great variety and nicer pieces that other Ones I have visited. Parking space is also very convenient.

Every time I go to TJ Maxx in New Hyde Park I end up regretting my visit. The lines to pay are ridiculous and very slow moving because they have only two or three cashiers working, out of 7 or 8. The manager could be standing around watching but won't do anything to help even though it's very obvious that there are not enough active cashiers. Wasting 20 minutes on line is too high a price to pay!

Great parking, great stuff and price and great customer service.just the cherry on the top of the cake is missing - a simple uniform for the staff would be great, just a t-shirt atleast.trust the company reads this review, and make it happen.

This store is a blue line store so you know the prices at this location are the same as the others. The store is clean and we'll kept. The employees are professional and personal. They know the store and products they sell. There is always something new in the store.

On line more than 30 minutes. Merchandise stuffed into bag which then rips. Staff block ing customer from merchandise

Not best TJ Maxx around. Place always looks disheveled like a storm just blew through. Always long line for no reason, 10 registers. 2 cashiers. Was looking for something from Marshalls, was hoping to find here since sister store, no luck. I wasn't hopeful going in.

Great merchandise including a home section. You never know what you will find such as a LBD a little black dress. Hangers may not match actual clothing sizes. Plus sizes. Rest room available. Long wait lines.

Pretty big TJ Maxx out in Long Island. It's kind of messy and can be neater but the people who work there are so nice!
Also, the dressing rooms are really clean and spacious. Well-lit.

Convenient location with easy parking, lots of great finds and bargains. Line for check out is always long but moves fast.
