T.J. Maxx, Plainview NY

This place is not consistent, sometimes you can find lots of stuff you need in a very reasonable price and somdays you find nothing and you regretted coming over.
This time I couldn't find anything to be bought as holiday seasons gift and I rather going to different place who have better varieties and offers.
I like that ship and hope they will back on track soon

As the Covid Crisis eases, we are learning which businesses really care about us and which were treating us with consideration just for the time being, so not to lose patronage. WOODBURY TJ MAXX FAILS THE TEST. This particular outlet could be far more " senior citizen friendly ". I often shop at various outlets of this group (Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Max), and this place has been a pleasant stop in the past, but after being subjected to the insulting behavior of the manager today (around 6: 30 PM, 8/25/21) I'll take my business elsewhere. I only purchase a limited number of food items here, in a store that also sells shoes, rugs and other items that spend a lot of time on the floor before being handled by cashiers. Today, for the first time, I was (at the age of 66) disbelieved when I simply asked the bumbling cashier to hand scan one of three pairs of food items twice.something I've done countless times before. The manager insisted I lay out everything on the counter.so I did, and left the cookies and pineapple marmalade there. Why would I ask you to scan a box of cookies multiple times if I wanted to steal them?  Admittedly, I did some dumb things as an undergrad.but that was a few decades ago!  PS: the young man attending to the gourmet shelves almost crashed into me once or twice, with no " Excuse me " or "Pardon me ". Poor management all around!

Always a great place to score good deals on clothes, especially socks and boxers. Awesome selection of pots and pans, good brand names at great prices, staff is always friendly and very helpful.

It was Good experience for myself I had no issue with anything the workers were helpful and polite.

I love Tjmaxx and this was my first time at this location. Great set up for your size store and had the items I needed.

They have to move much quicker with the cashier's the lines with two long inside TJ Max and Marshalls.

The lines are always very long here and they move very slow! The people who work here are nice but not very efficient. As well the store is often very messy.

Its cool got some nice things. I try not to compare stores but its so similar to home goods/Marshall's and has very little selection compared to those stores. But over all nice experience. They worked hard to be covid conscious

This particular store is has good stuff however, after my last experience in this store
and after speaking with the district manager who is clearly culturally inept along with some of the other employees in this store I will never be back there. District manager showed absolutely no empathy or concerns completely ignorant about social issues! No thought whatsoever about me as the customer, it's no wonder why you have some employees act the way they do! Blatantly disregarded my extremely uncomfortable experience and how I was spoken to. He 100% sides with the employees and does care whether or not a customer comes back to the store! Bad move especially since a lot of retailers are going out of business!

Why is it that your store is not stocked with anything? It was horrible shopping in your store.

This TJ Maxx, by FAR is the most UNORGANIZED, MESSY and ODDLY PLACED departments I have ever shopped. The racks just have clothes thrown on them. Items for the home are thrown on tables. The childrens toys are next to the pet toys. I could barely find what I needed because items of the SAME department are not together. To find the size I needed, I had to shop off of three different racks. I would talk abut customer service, but there was NONE. As I was being checked out, the cashier was filling out paperwork while ringing me up. Barely picked her head up to even acknowledge I was standing there. Then, at the end, points to a mat in front of me and says TJX CREDIT CARD? Like, ummm, what!? The manager next to her was just as bad. Head in the clouds! Do me a favor and SHOP AT ANOTHER LOCATION! At least until this store cleans up its act!

It can get pretty messy and unorganized. They also have long lines depending on when you go. A little hit and miss with selections depending on what you are looking to get, it seems like an easy fix.

Women's clothes there's lots of, however men's clothes is lacking and quiet a bit too.

For guys shopping there's literally 5 or 6 racks in the corner of the store by the bathroom.

Womens clothes there's tons of as well as other things for the home and a section for luggage.

My wife loves this chain because of the bargain prices but for men its slacking. For any guy shopping on a budget this place isn't really helpful.

Great service. The Young lady at the register, Lubnah was very patient and accommodating with the return issue.

I like T. J. Maxx no matter what state I'm in. This location was clean and the checkout line moved fast. Lots of Mets items but surprisingly no Yankees gear. Oh well, maybe next time.

Never know what great things you will find, from clothes to housewares at such a great price. Love the shopping experience.

Tjmax is a very nice place, you can find almost anything you need at very good prices. A lot of people like it.
