Don't bother calling unless you don't mind wasting your time. It takes such a long time to set up appointment and I have to reschedule again and again till I give up. SOOOO BAD EXPERIENCE!

Never trust this service provider under emergencies who never show up and care about our emergent situation. Look at those negative reviews which are much more reliable.

John did a wonderful job fixing the heat in my unit. For a month we couldn’t get the system to run properly. Called him and he was transparent regarding his rates and his availability. Came out the next day and took care of the wiring problem within a hour. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend John Mangino and Tonnage. I had a 2 ton central AC installed by someone else about 10 years ago but the unit never cooled properly and the original installer went out of business. I contacted several other techs over the years but none of them really looked for the problem—they all just refilled the refrigerant which only helped for a few days. John was the first HVAC tech who took the time to diagnose the source of my problem: a faulty ECM control board. I appreciate his perseverance in finding and fixing the problem but I am also grateful for his integrity—he could have told me the whole compressor needed to be replaced. I will definitely call him next time I need service.

John & the team retrofitted 3 old PTAC units to work with smart thermostats and installed new ductwork in my apartment. Their work is very high quality and reasonably priced, and they took care to not damage the cabinetry around the AC units even though the space for ductwork was really tight. They’re great at communication too, and when we found out the PTAC units were high voltage and didn’t work with the thermostats out of the box, they clearly explained the challenge and were able to find a good solution. I’d gladly work with them again!

Never reach out to this fake company which does not have actually an office. The location they use as 'office' is actually a residential building in a poor area. So many fake reviews there left by scammers where you can see 95% reviews left in one day.

I'm very pleased with Marco Gerbasi and John Mangino at Tonnage HVAC-R installing a heat pump system. They worked with me to decide which system to install. The install was completed in one day. With the heat pump system installed I no longer need the gas boiler. I installed solar panels in 2018 and generate a plus in BTU's into the grid. I highly recommend Tonnage HVAC-R.

Marco repaired and cleaned all of my AC units in a timely and professional manner. He immediately repaired the issue in a moment of seconds. Extremely high quality service and fantastic customer service. Will be my go-to moving forward.

We had an issue with the AC units in our apartment and Marco arrived and was very professional. He found the problem right away and even when he noticed that the units were dirty he cleaned them all and left no mess. Great experience and no issues. Definitely recommend if you need any assistance. 10/10! He even took out our garbage!

Marco and Tonnage hvac-r went above and beyond when it came to customer service and professional work. When originally asked to come and repair our ac units, he went out of his way to clean all of the units that had dust and debris that was impacting our air quality without our knowledge so thank you to them! We will be saving this number for the future to say the least.

This review is overdue. John fixed our Daikin mini-split system after it suddenly stopped working during a particularly hot/humid period last August (2022). He responded quickly (after-hours) and worked efficiently to get our home cool again. I can't say enough good things about his work. Should our system ever have issues again, we would not hesitate to call this company.

Additionally, we also called him when my father-in-law had issues with his system. My father-in-law was also pleased with the quick work John did to get his a/c working again (which needed a charge).

John is affable, reliable, and extremely competent. He's a great guy. We highly recommend him.

The guys were amazing. Everything was done properly and to code. Very polite and friendly. They explained and helped me design the perfect system for my house. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the service and how everything turned out. Definitely recommend!

With the recent heat wave, we were in dire need of getting our systems looked at. John and team were able to work around their busy schedule and make sure that we were prepared before the hot temperatures stuck around. We appreciated the communication and the time they took to explain how our systems worked and how to best maintain them. We can't highly recommend them enough to any other commercial businesses in the Manhattan area!

This company use fake reviews to accumulate positive feedbacks which have been reported to Google. You guys can see that within 1 day it suddenly has nearly 20 positive feedbacks which do not make any sense for a startup which has only 2 reviews for the last several months.

After the reparation, the device never comes back to its origin condition after the repair. No wonder it has terrible ratings before the fake reviews! You guys can see for any negative feedbacks the provider always just respond same. Everyone should stay away!

We just bought a home and out of 4 different hvac contractors we chose tonnage because they were very honest and responsive with the work being done, Also i like the fact that all the owners of the company are the ones doing the work. Quality was amazing while price is fair.

My ac was not working and I needed fix it ASAP! A friend recommended them and I’m so glad I called because they came they were fast and profesional and my ac was working on the same day. I’m a happy customer for sure I will call them again.
