Tops Friendly Markets, Cheektowaga NY

I had grown up in this area, and I was back in the area while doing some shopping for my great grandmother. I have not seen this Tops look this good in 10 years. Everything looks fresh and new, the selection of products is getting better and better, and they have some of the same amazing staff from when I was younger (specifically cart man. If you go here often you know what guy I'm talking about!). I am pleased to say this is probably one of the best renovations and overall improvements in a Tops Market I have seen

Love the remodel, but comparing prices I found that alot of tops stuff is 50 cents too 2$more expensive then other places. Whyyyyyyyyy

Place is so dirty looking. I think when u pull up and see the parking lot it sets your opinion even before u enter.

Absolutely no chicken or Hunts 32 oz sauce.
Price of mushrooms astronomical! Passed on them.

The customer service needs to go up a notch. They are better than Walmart, but, no where near as good as Wegman's. IMHO

Haven't been to this location for a long time, since I don't live near it.decided to stop in to pick up a Pepsi for my wife, since I was in the area. Never again. The store was filthy, had a funky smell, the line for the self checkout was ridiculous.ntm, the employees working the self checkout area seemed quite rude to some of the other shoppers. Also, half the people I saw either had their mask hanging from 1 ear of under their nose, sometimes barely covering their mouths.quite possibly the worst Tops I've been to in years

Always good service and no harassing when you walk in the door of making my life choice of not wanting to wear a mask it's pleasant to walk into a place unmasked and not have to deal with Karen's

This Tops is almost always out of stock, most recently a 19 item instacart order with 9 of the 19 items out of stock, your corner 7/11 is probably better stocked than this Tops

Tops prices have skyrocketed. Only thing thats a bargain are weekly sale items, but they are almost ALWAYS out of stock, so I end up with a wallet full of ranchers & no food on the table. Shop elsewhere!

Dirty, over priced sale items while trying 2 compete wit all the save alot, price rites and aldis

This location has really gone downhill. I complained a few years ago about only having self scan available for late shopping. Basically was told " we hope you come back someday".
I only stop here when I absolutely have to. Recent visit reminded me why I don't shop here regularly anymore.
Fruit is always sketchy, meat counter area wasn't clean. Random meat package on laundry soap shelf and the parking lot was a dumping spot for fast food containers and used masks. Oh and self checkout seemed to be the only option.

Store is dirty, dusty, the owner really should take care of this store. I've been shopping here for 16 years and it's getting worse.keep our Cheektowaga stores clean.

Tops has great locally grown produce. The staff is always helpful, and the carry-out has lots of cold/hot options. The breakfast pizza is 100%

My husband and I were here on Tuesday afternoon (around 3pm?) & were really surprised and disappointed with the Deli. The store itself was not even crowded, and despite 2 deli workers (and only 1 other customer), there was NO grab n' go lunch meat available- the section was completely empty- and the selection of sliced meat in the case was very sparse. There was only krakus ham & that looked dried out. What roast beef was there, was just all stuck together in a "wad" & not fresh looking at all. What the heck?

As I have said before I don't like Tops, prices are too high.
But today, I got some really good deals on fruit.

Shelves are full, most produce is nice. Some could be fresher. Staff however is very kind and helpful. That's important.

I have been a Tops Market shopper for at least 50 years and have tried the Tops-brand groceries for all that time!
Most of those I tried are excellent tasting and reasonably priced! (I do enjoy their "specials", however!) My store of choice is at Union and Geo. Urban in Cheektowaga! (I remember well when Mr Manna was manager!)

Not bad has improved over the years I love the cheektowaga Thruway plaza location the manager Chris Braden is amazing! Phenomenal customer service skills and never ceases to amaze me by going above and beyond for customers. With this pandemic and many seniors and marginalized groups being isolated when they shop they may talk a little more or require extra attention and he gives it to them every time
