Tops Friendly Markets, Amherst NY

Had everything I needed and some things I can't find a my usual Tops. Also able to do my banking

Very busy and small location with rude employees. 2 yrs later the employees are still rude. May 17,2021 first back, I had to interrupt the employee at self-checkout while she was having a conversation with a co-worker or whatever to fix the screen that says see attendant. 8 Kool Aid packets on the scale and the machince didn't pick any of them up. I had to enter skip bagging for each 1. The cashier said "It will only allow you to skip so many times". I replied "Its on the SCALE WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TOO DO? " She didn't reply. I walked by her and said "YOU CAN NOW GO BACK TO POINTLESS CONVERSATION". She said "Have a nice night, Ma'am". I said YOU TOO and no I didn't mean it. Seriously Tops employees need customer service training. She is literally being paid to stand there to focus on her 6 screens not hold a conversation. WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO AVOID THIS LOCATION.

YOUR HOUR ON GOOLE HAVE BEEN WRONG FOR 18 MONTHS SINCE COVID STARTED! WHAT TIME DO YOU ACTUALLY CLOSE? THANK YOU.

A young female worker assisted my cashier by packing my groceries without me even asking. I really appreciated that kind gesture.

It's was very good, and I didn't have to be that long there. It's was all over good.

Store is not too crowded and it is easy to locate the items we need, compared to Walmart. But prices are a little bit higher.

I received my 2nd COVID vaccine yesterday here. I find the store to be very clean and the workers are very helpful. I wish we lived closer to this location. I wouldn’t mind shopping here all the time.

Worst place to shop the only reason I go their for my pharmacy products but other than that I wouldn't employees are rude managers are same products are expired and expensive.
I wouldn't recommend this place. Spend more and go somewhere else.

The lady at the self checkout counter was too rude to me and my friend. I asked her to help me in assisting Tops bonus plus card but she was not even in a mood to do her job. If Tops keeps hiring this kind of people, Tops will loose their potential customer in such venerable market.

Not even a fresh lobster tank in the store very depressing store workers where polite store smelled like rotten fish.

The employee are just very good here. Very professional, friendly and helpful. I have the means to go to other tops stores but I keep coming to this one because they are just run better than most.

The darkskin lady at the deli with glasses was so rude to me and my girlfriend i just wanted a sandwich made she was very very rude

Great location, plenty of parking, great prices, fresh meats & veggies, friendly employees

As expected. Friendly and helpful. Disappointed there was no chicken for the grill but it is part of the times right now.

I gave 3 stars because I appreciate Tops for being a supermarket chain that has established itself in the inner-city neighborhoods. Tops cooked chicken pieces are very delicious. Tops beer prices are usually lower than other beer sellers. All, in all, you'll probably find what you're looking for at Tops. My fault with tops is the price one pays for a product. Tops' products are overpriced compared to other local chain stores (including the corner stores).
