I‘ve been in here a lot looking at all the trinkets and knick knacks, and everything is so gorgeous and you can tell a lot of love has gone into this shop. Living at college has been a little tough, but every time I go here the staff has been friendly and helpful making me feel at home. Lovely place with a nice collection of stuffed animals, highly recommend!

Cutest little shop with so many unique and cool options. There’s something for everyone, and the owner is so kind!

I’ve been a customer of a touch of grayce for years and every time I go I’m followed and watched by the employees. This has never bothered me much before because I totally understand a small business wanting to make sure no one is stealing. But the other day when I stoped by after lunch to do some browsing a employee asked to see my bag and essentially accused me of stealing a book. I’m sad to say I probably won’t be returning, looks like the knot dot shop earned a new customer!

I absolutely love to go here whenever I visit a loved one at SUNY Geneseo. She has bought me many gifts from here! I wish I could find a place like this in my city, because the selection here is perfect. I especially love looking at the Jellycat stuffed animals, stickers, cards, and crystals. A bit pricey, but I think it's worth it for how unique and quality the gifts are here.

While I like perusing Touch of Grayce, I've had a few bad experiences with the employees there. They had treated me and my mother with haste and bitterness and it was uncalled for each time. It's a nice store, a tad overpriced, if you ask me, but could use an attitude adjustment for some of their employees. Once, I went to ask for change for the meter outside, and the woman was incredibly rude to me. Instead of informing me, politely, to go across the street to the bank, where they might be able to help me, or another store or something, she snapped at me. I'll still continue to shop there, it just left a sour taste in my mouth.

My boyfriend and I went in the store to browse and as we looked around we were followed by an employee the whole time. Every time we look over our shoulder it was dirty looks. It was extremely unprofessional. At one point I pulled my mask down to drink from my water bottle (which was visibly in my hand) and was rudely told to keep it up. It was just such a terrible experience and I'm very upset.

I stopped at this store by chance and I found a nice pair of socks I liked for my friend. When I went to check out at the counter, the cashier was helping another customer and said, I will be right with you. I waited and the cashier came back and said, “thanks for your patience. ”
I didn’t say anything and gave her my credit card to pay for the socks. The cashier looks me in the eye and says, “you’re welcome. ”
I didn’t believe what I just heard for a second and I asked her, did you just answer yourself because I didn’t say anything? The cashier says, “well, it’s the holidays, you should be happy. ”
I said, really? Is that how you are with the customers? The cashier gave me the receipt and credit card back and said “happy holidays, goodbye” and turned her back on me. I was absolutely appalled and disappointed by the experience.
First of all, I am a customer at the store and I am purchasing a $15 pair of socks at a small-town gift shop. They should be thankful for my business and not be condescending to the customers. Did she think I wouldn’t notice?
Second of all, if I didn’t say anything, the cashier of a gift shop has absolutely no right to assume anything about the customers. I could be going through a hard time, I could be morning someone’s death, I could be smiling behind my face mask. It is a pandemic and I a wearing a mask. Why does this cashier assume that I am not happy? How dare she assume anything about any customers? How dare she talk back to a customer?
I was never rude, I literally didn’t say anything, I waited for her to come back to check me out, I made a very expensive purchase for one pair of socks, I was a good customer. What I get in return is condescension and patronizing.
The most disappointing part of this is that this makes me question my own self. What is it that gives you the right to treat people like that? Is it the color of my skin? Is it my accent? Why do people feel so comfortable treating other people like they don’t matter? Like their feelings don’t matter?
I was very offended by this. The cashier was condescending and patronizing while charging my credit card $15. I bothered writing all this because people think they can get away with anything with the façade of being nice. That’s not the definition of being nice.

Was a terrible experience and cashier was rude towards my wife and I. We will not shop here again.

Has everything one needs: herbs, candles, incense, alter items, journals, books, tarot and a helpful person behind the counter. So nice to find a store in such a small town. The atmosphere of the shop is inviting and warm. Thank you very much for your positivity and your forgiveness. To have a shop like this in Geneseo is a blessing.

This is my home town store. And I’ve always loved it. Yesterday I went in for the first time in a long time. It was just as wonderful if not more fulfilling now that I’m older? Great place for unique gifts for all ages. And the toys soooo many toys! She has the coolest things and all great prices. I’m going back soon!

This is a wonderful curio shop. It has such unique gift choices. I find if I'm looking for something "out of the box" to give someone this is the place to go. From baby to teen to retired I'vefound treasures for them all.
