Town Dock, Port Washington NY

We love parking and strolling. Specially buy ice cream. The large parking lot gets pretty full over the weekends and you might not find parking.

Nice place to take a break and watch the boats or practice some fishing.

The parking lot is free.

If you visit Port Washington, this place is a must. Have a nice dinner, grab ice cream from Sweet Treats on the Wharf or Italian Ices from Ralphs and come here for a beautiful sunset. It has the best sunset, and it is nice to stroll around the water.

Nice view during the day. Some people fish, some read or eat on the benches, there are a handful of tables too, some stroll etc watch out for duck/geese droppings. Parking is free but tight. At night kids hang out & take up the parking, others speed in the parking lot to show off. There is a public restroom.

Used the town dinghy dock, which we are grateful for. There are a lot of boats out in the mooring and depending on where you hook up or anchor it can be a long ride to the dock. Nice little park to walk the dogs, lots of people out and about. Cute little shops and a few restaurants within walking distance.

A fantastic place to take a break have lunch etc. Nice walk way with great breeze from the bay. Always a winner.

Great place to stop over for sailors good mooring place with great prices just go to yellow morings and call water taxi via vhf and near by a lot shoppings target and stop and shop

Free pump out and water for filling the tank.
