Town of Thompson Town Park reviews
13This is an extremely well laid out park. Clearly marked trails. Easy to navigate. Nice playground and pavilion. Very clean and well maintained. Look forward to the next trip.
Very nice park but they currently are remodeling their restrooms and have a porta potty outside. It's crazy how the porta potty was over flowing and the smell traveled through out that entire area. Also they have a slide that is steep and very bumpy. It's not safe for smaller kids. They should definitely consider posting caution signs with age restriction. Overall the park is very well maintained, has a hiking trail
, picnic area and a nice creek.
The summer camp counselors are rude and are very quick to kick your kid out of camp. I enrolled my child in the summer camp and they kicked her out on the second day.the camp counselor was giving me an attitude and when I told them not to talk to me like that they just kicked her out rite there. Horrible experience and they owe us more then a refund for upsetting my kid who loved the camp.
The park is tucked away on a quiet side street. While the parking area isn't the largest it can fit enough people to enjoy the area.
There is a large basketball court, big football field, soccer field, pool, and large playground on premises. To accompany all of that there is a small walking trail along a river with plenty of benches to take a rest and enjoy the scenery.
My girlfriend brings my son here often and the times I accompany them I have never been disappointed! Great park for some family time!
This is a very nice town park that typically is not at all crowded, as it's out of the way. The front section has ball fields, playgrounds and picnic/BBQ spots. It is well maintained with large lawns along the streams and river. However, the best section is in the back where there are woods trails behind the football field. They are in good shape and generally not too wet for this rainy area.
Until the summer rush hits, this is a great park! The town workers do a great job of maintaining the park, even with the summer tourists giving them a run for their money. Great facilities, trails, and a nice football field for the local kids teams to use!
A nice huge relaxing atmosphere. My daughter & I love this park.we drive about 8miles to get here from where we live.
This park is actually a nice one. I went waking with my Dad & sister. They have a river there & swing sets/ slides for kids. I went on the swings & released my inner kid lol. I would think it's a nice place to be in the summer.
Good experience overall, nice wide trails to walk, just take your phone with you and memorize which turn you make lol
I got almost lost lol
Very nice park. Multiple trails you can take. Nice little river which you can be in and enjoy the water running. Not a deep river. Maybe pass your ankle and that's all. Nice area for kids. Also you can bbq in some areas
The park is sooo beautiful is super super clean the walking trails are really nice and peaceful. They have many amenities and a soccer field a and a picnic area but everything immaculate and well taking care, the playground area is great and has plenty of things to play my kids love to come to this park we really enjoy time here. Amazing experience we really recommend this park!
Trial needs to be marked better, but it looks like they're still working on it. The park itself is beautiful.
Beautiful park that we didn’t know about and is only a short car ride from the house. We went on a snowy day and were alone in the park. We tried to find the waterfall but failed. After following the yellow trail we jumped on the red trail which is a little more challenging but nothing crazy. While the trails are well marked we had no idea where we were going. We couldn’t find any map that showed us the trails but we will be coming back again to explore more. There are plenty of picnic tables all around to enjoy the water and scenery. Beautiful place for a nice stroll to clear your head and connect with nature.
