Tramway Plaza reviews
12You can access with the metrocard or paying 2.50.the journey is short. The cable car is clean and the operator is very good treatment
It's really great, this cable car! (called "tramway" but which is nothing like a tram) We cross the East River for Roosevelt Island. Small island that offers a nice walk with a pedestrian-cyclist track going around the whole thing. Then return with the "tramway". I advise you for the round trip to do a north side then a south side. 2 fantastic views
Cable car that takes 5 minutes to get to the other side
Nice to do once and nice view of the bridge
Sky tram that connects Manhattan and Roosevelt Island and only cost a swipe of the metro card ($2.75). They run regularly and is large enough to accommodate a large crowd but you'd probably want to do during non peek hours so it more confutable to get a viewing point and enjoy the ride. The are a few bench seats at the front and back of the tram. The ride is very stable and only takes a few minutes. Roosevelt Island is very small but it offers some stunning views of Manhattan and worth a visit if you are in NYC.
Is a nice experience and pretty affordable, just the regular 2.75 USD each ride. You can use your regular MTA Card and also can use the 7 days unlimited. There's not omny so better get your card before or you going to be in line to use the mta machine
It is in a corner where you have to climb stairs and line up to pay and wait to use the cable car
It has an amazing view of many spectacular sights and crossing the beautiful Hutson River to get to ROOSEVELT ISLAND
Great connection between Roosvelt Island and Manhattan. You must enjoy the great view of Manhattan from the island. A real insider tip.
We used this cable car to go to Roosevelt Island. The view is very pretty and it is a relaxed experience. It doesn't last long, but it's fun. If you have an unlimited metro pass, it doesn't cost you anything.
An original visit to New York, for the price of a subway ticket 2.75 dollars, you have a beautiful view from Roosevelt Island and you can take line E having visited this beautiful memorial of TD ROOSEVELT.
A very good view of Manhattan, also Roosevelt Island is a very good place to spend the day, highly recommended
Best way to reach Roosevelt Island. While having a magnificent view of the Queensboro bridge. Included with the metrocard.
Fabulous reccomend doing if in new york great views takes about 4 mins to get to Roosevelt island go and enjoy
