Trillium Health, Rochester NY

I was supposed to have my ADHD medicine script filled tomorrow on a Saturday. I called my Dr 3 days prior to have it filled. Today I called 2 times and requested it again on the patient portal telling them I wouldn't have any tomorrow if it's not called in. It never got called in, it's the weekend and I'll be without my ADHD medicine the entire weekend for reasons I have no idea about. Feeling helpless.

I’m just so upset with the lack of urgency this staff has here. I requested a prescription refill last week through the patient portal.no response or refill confirmation. I’m not sure why they even have that when no one looks at it. Then I called and they told me they were sending a prescription to cvs (never had an issue with cvs pharmacy). Now it’s Monday and first thing I did was call the doctor office to follow up since I still haven’t heard anything about my medication being filled. I was told the prescription was sent on Thursday, so I called cvs and found that they never received anything! So I called the doctor back again and was told they are making a note to resend the prescription and that it’s urgent. I’ve now called them 4 times today as I still wait and continue to get told there’s nothing I can do but wait. Also each time they sound 100% like they don’t care or understand why this could possibly be important!
After reading other negative reviews, I see I’m not the only one with these issues. This is my second time getting a refill through them and last month wasn’t that great either.

My primary care has been at trillium for years now and I used to love it and refer friends. In the last 3 years it seems to have diminished extensively. Even after making an appointment you get left in the waiting room for an hour, up to two hours on one occasion. The staff are friendly but often seem confused or flustered about things hapoening in the office. I have had to call several times recently and each time the line says there are no callers ahead of me and yet the wait has been between 10 to 20 minutes to speak with the front desk or a nurse. I tried using the portal to contact my doctor and after a week called and asked why I had not gotten a response and was simply told the doctor must not have seen it. I have started going to urgent care instead of scheduling an appointment with my PCP since it usually takes a month to be seen.

There are many issues but from an outside perspective It seems like poor managment or understaffing and I am heavily considering changing practices.

I saw doctor Tripp since before he came to Trillium, but coming here is honestly even better. Dr. Tripp is over all one of the most enjoyable and relaxing doctors I've ever been of patient of. He will do everything in his power to make sure you know you're well taken care of and comfortable! On top of that at trillium the nurses are awesome and available! Crystal- what an amazing nurse she is Wonderful, keeps you comfortable and funny! She does an amazing job at her job every time!
Even the receptionists are amazing there. I can say I haven't had a better review for a doctor before, so I just wanted to make sure I wrote it for the public to know. Ladies if you're looking for a nonjudgmental and comfortable doctor look no further than here

Outstanding professional & personal health care workers here. Doctors, nurses, and everyone in-between: thank you for all you do! I was seen here a few times after a very personal attack occurred. Here, they helped me get back on my feet and stay healthy, physically and mentally speaking. That's the thing: they care most about your well-being than any other healthcare facility in Rochester. They will ask for your pronouns, if you want to see and/or discuss your weight, if you have a preferred gender to see you, etc. Awesome care.

My doctors are good, but the staff are very poor with how they treat me. I almost never get any follow up. I would definitely go somewhere else except they seem to be the only clinic that treats transgender issues in monroe county.

Honestly I prefer Trillium Health Clinic over any other clinics in the city, just because of how nice the staff are and how amazing the doctors are as well. I’ve never had an issue with anyone at this clinic, and their responses on the portal application have always been responded relatively quickly. I definitely recommend them if you’re a person who’s non-binary
/transgender and have an isssue with a different clinic or hospital. They will always have your back and even go through the lengths of finding you a suitable place for your needs. Their team and staff are so diverse with all ethnics and people of different backgrounds, and very welcoming to LGBT community. They don’t make an issue on calling you by your pronouns or preferred name, just sign some paperwork for it and you’re golden. I’ve always had an issue with my primary hospital and clinic because of my legal name, and I’ve always been publicly called my dead name instead of my preferred name. This clinic will protect your privacy and make you comfortable as possible. And for that they will always be my top clinic in the city.

Great experience! I got tested for COVID the same day I scheduled the appointment on the website! Results came 2 days. The nurses were great!

The worst experience that I have ever had with any medical office. They have given me so much trouble about getting my own paperwork from them for 3 weeks now. Their records department is clearly run by people who should not be doing so.

Horrible service. I needed to come in for a COVID test and chose Trillium because they claim they allow walk ins. I called them around 10: 30 in the morning to get more information and was on hold, but they gave the "option" of holding your place in line where they call you back once an agent becomes available. 5 hours later and I have received no call back, so wasn't able to book an appointment even if I wanted to. Not only that, but I decided to just walk to Trillium just to see how the walk in would work. There is a massive sign on their building once again claiming they allow walk-ins, but right next to it was a crudely written on piece of paper stuck outside saying "appointment only on Mondays". Nowhere on their website does it say that they do not allow walk-ins on Mondays. I had to find out once I got there. Wasted my entire day around them.

Incredible. I attempted calling them again and I was "10" in line for almost 10 minutes. An agent finally picks up even though the number never changed but then they apparently couldn't hear me and hung up. I called back immediately and surprise, I was "10" in line again even though I had just "spoken "to somebody on the phone. The number of people they have on hold just seems like a straight up lie.

Ever this is good just, They should fix the phone line is making a noise every time we want to communicate to the pharmacy

I have been a patient since 2001 and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great place. Awesome LGBTQ environment. Everyone is so happy and excited to help you. They relatively try to take care of toxic people in a nice way. Which is great because everyone can tell in the waiting room who's a problem lol

The staff are very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. There is plenty of parking and the offices are very clean. I'm happy that Trillium is supporting our community. Thank you!

They have always been accessible, open minded, caring, and thorough. Their patient portal is the best I have ever seen.

I will never come here agin. Their clinic is so unorganized and their staff talks down to you like you’re unintelligent. This place is so unprepared its absurd. The lab professional was rude and had an attitude.

I've never had so many issues with one place in my entire life. It's almost impossible get seen, most of the staff is incompetent. And even when you go to the ED for possibly corona they barely follow up with you. Avoid this place.
