The service is rude at best. Food is usually good. However, this time we found hair in the curry goat. We will NOT be returning. They need to stop chat so much and pay attention.

Tasty but pricey, street parking is tough it may help to have someone in the car since there's usually a line to purchase food. The line goes fast most times, and the ambiance of the place needs improvement.

Been coming here for years and have tried just about everything on their menu. Recently visited and purchased doubles, shrimp aloo pies, bake n sharks and currant rolls all of which were still amazing. I also purchased a chicken pelau and chicken roti unwrapped. The chicken now appears to be GMO/3D printed. The skin was tough and had a sheer, paper like texture that you see with bioengineered meat. I’ve been a supporter for ages, even back when they had a DJ spinning and selling CDs however I will no longer be purchasing any meat from Trinciti. While restaurants are not obligated to disclose the use of GMOs/bioengineered ingredients, I would think out of respect for their patrons they would disclose, especially being a Caribbean establishment. Not sure if this was an isolated incident or because they’ve gone viral and think the new clientele won’t notice, but I won’t risk my family’s health regardless of how good their food has been

Tasty, amazing food, excellent customer service. Always worth the wait in the line, however, it’s a little tiresome.

The food is Absolutely Amazing. This is true Trinidad taste and flavor. However the service is not so great. The staff is very willing to assist but the system of taking orders and getting them processed is chaotic. This contributes to long waits, lots of shouting at customers.

I officially Hate this place. Not only do they lack simple customer service; to take the time and answer one question. There special "bake n shark" was flavorless and way over price. You would think for the amount of things they pill on it, it still tasted bland. The pineapple didn't help it either.

The staff at this place is very professional from the moment you walk in the door the service is excellent, even when its busy you are never ignored someone always there to help. The food is amazing like being back in the island of Trinidad the only thing missing is the nice weather to go with it lol.

Today is January 9 and its 9: 05 am The cashier is a male person. He had a black shirt on a black pants and a black hat. His attitude was so nasty. I hope they can run the camera. The owner can run the camera and see his attitude. I went to the register and I paid for my food that I ordered and I told him I wanted a coffee and he was like go to the server and tell her you want coffee because he doesn’t make coffee so I looked wrong and I didn’t see the lady that serve me so I told him I don’t see her. Can you make the coffee and he walked away he went and he made the coffee and he was like throwing an N and slamming my cup on the cupboard and throwing covered like the cupboard and so on I don’t understand what kind of service is that Trinity is a well-known place I know the owner personally and I don’t like what I saw today and I’m he looks like he was drinking all night and he’s high or something. Can you guys please check on him because he’s dealing with food people food and I don’t like the service I got I’m sorry

I have been a customer of this place for so many years and looked over many of their ISSUES just because they are somewhat close to what they get back home, but after today they have defiantly lost my business.
Here are the many problems:

1. They are THIEVES! Not timely service!

I had placed a bulk order of roti for a large religious gathering. The guy who placed my order told me to come 15 minutes earlier prior to pick up time and I came even earlier and still had me waiting for OVER HALF AN HOUR for my food and the killer part is that it wasn’t even busy in there since it was very early morning!
Now onto why they are THIEVES! I had order a particular amount of roti and cut to when I was checking the roti they had SHORTED me 3 whole roti! And when I had called to tell them I had the worse customer service experience with the manger.

2. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had called the place and spoke with the manager with resulted in my absolute frustration. I told him what happened and he checked with the girl who packed my order and he essentially believed his worker over what I was reporting to him. The manager basically told me that it’s my loss.
At this point now it’s not about the food but the principle of the matter. I am telling you that you did not give me what I paid for and basically told me oh well, like no sir that is not right! If it was one roti I would be like things happen but it was THREE which is either INTENTIONAL or NEGLIGENCE! And the crazy thing is this is NOT the first time this had happened! On many occasions I have missed multiple food items and I had never said anything until now. This has not only happened to me but to others as well.

The manager was very RUDE and CONDESCENDING and has no manner in speaking to customers!

3. NOT CLEANLY

I have noticed this over the years and it really is a problem. The way the workers handle the food is not nice. They do not wear face guards over their mouths and why this is a problem is that every time you go in there they are so busy chatting with each other that they are basically spitting all over the food being prepared.

Basically the nail in the coffin is that I was just shocked at the managers behavior. I was a genuine customer telling you what happened and the manager chose to behavior to rudely to me. Listen I know how to make my own roti which taste better anyway but chose to make my life a little easier by giving them business which was a huge mistake!

For a business that does well it’s shocking that they would cheat and thieve from their customers in this way and like I told you this is not the first time they have done this in my big orders with them.

From now on they won’t be cheating me because I will not be giving them anymore business and you all should not as well. Save your money!

Amazing spot / Best doubles, incredible roti. Great vibes, great crowd. If you’re like me and aren’t a hundred percent sure of the difference between Buss up shut, roti and Daal Puri fear not - ask for Nicky. She is electric, kind patient, takes the time to make perfect suggestions and somehow, no matter how crowded, does it all with a welcoming smile. Varshanie does a terrific job assembling your order. Trin Citi is fantastic - Now you know.

It's very rowdy but the food is *chef's kiss*! Pack a lot of patience when going here cos the queue can be crazy. They need to expand.

Favorite spot for trini food right now. The options and variety work perfectly for me and putting oxtails in aloo pie is god's work.

Heard about the place on IG. I knew I couldn't waste any time to get there. A plethora of doubles. My shrimp double was fantastic. Goat curry is so flavorful and with the pumpkin and buss up shot; my stomach is pleased. Definitely will return and bringing friends with me.

The food is great I must say! But the way the boss lady went on yesterday morning (Saturday) was very unacceptable I watch she stood there and told a black girl if you can’t bring over the bara go home she talk all sorts of stuff about that girl and the girl stood there and said nothing as a business woman you need to treat your staffs better don’t disrespect or embarrass them infront of costumers take them to the back and tell them whatever you want to tell them but infront of costumers it’s unacceptable if it was me I would’ve answered her but that girl stood there and said nth she just continued to make my doubles that is so bad for business and as a boss you need to do better.

If you going to this place, ask for boneless chicken doubles with everything inside. It's a must, believe me it's delicious if you are into the spice food, otherwise no spice bit it's not gonna taste the same.
Prepare for the big lines just to ask for your meal but it's worth it.enjoy it

I always hit this place when visiting fam in Queens We pulled up at 7a.m, no line, the middle of our order, line out the door. I ordered 2 bone-in curry chicken roti, 2 beef roti loaded with hot pepper sauce, of course, the server lady jokingly asked me if I'm staying home with all that pepper sauce I got. Bake and sharks & some bakery treats. All taste great Excellent service! They serve rotis separate if you want which worked well for me to freeze and take some back with me San Diego, Cali. A+ for sure. No Trini food for me out here unless I make it myself
