Triple Promise Academy for the Perf Arts, Brooklyn NY

Our children absolutely loved Triple Promise summer camp. We’ve lived in Bay Ridge for more than a decade and this was hands-down their favorite camp. After the show closed, they both kept saying how much they wished it were still running, and they wanted to perform it again. Jill is clearly someone who both loves her work and knows how to pass both her passion for theater and the hard work and practice it requires to her students. We saw a big boost in our kids’ maturity and sense of performance after just one intensive three-week program. I recommend Triple Promise with the highest praise.

3XP is absolutely incredible! As an actress myself I am insanely picky about the programs I send my daughter to! This was her first experience doing a fully staged musical. I was BLOWN away. At 8 years old not only did she get incredible training but she learned how to work as a professional, take direction, and the discipline and teamwork needed to execute a musical in less than three weeks.
Most importantly, she had fun doing it and has made lifelong friends!
I am so happy to have found this gem in Bay Ridge. A perfect addition to our hood. And even if you don’t live in the neighborhood it is worth traveling for!

Absolutely great program that brought my son and the rest of our family so much joy, completely unexpectedly. Jill is one of the most gifted people I have ever met. She is truly a genius. We are completely committed to her program because she has brought out the best in our kids, and we have seen her do it with other kids too. Unequivocally recommend! You will not regret signing your kid up for any of her programs.

Would highly recommend 3XP. I was a little skeptical at first when my son first joined this past February. Since then, he has become more confident, made a bunch of new great friends and having so much fun at their summer camp. The programs, shows and staff are wonderful. Jill is a great coach, teacher and professional!

I'm so happy that Triple Promise Academy for the Performing Arts decided to have classes for neuro divergent individuals. My daughter always wanted to be in drama classes but due to her difficulty wirh working memory and memorizing lines, she was discouraged. Jill and Chris have given her confidence in herself and her ability to perform. I only wish this program was started years ago!

My 11 yr old has been attending since sept 2022. It’s a wonderful program and an amazing directo, Jill. The performances are a joy to watch. Great atmosphere with dedicated teachers.

Happy that my son is participating in acting classes, now he is more self-confident and less shy, his memory, concentration and even speech have improved. I see that he enjoys singing and that he follows the instructions given to him in each rehearsal. It amazes me how far he has come thanks to the professionalism of the staff.

We've been going to Triple Promise for a year already and planning to continue! My daughter (7 years old) participates in a kid's musical production (this season it's Shrek) and also a Storymakers' acting class. She's grown so much confidence and passion for art in general and acting, specifically. Her social and teambuilding skills got much better too. Her commitment to work and practice (hey, it's not easy to memorize all the lines and coordinate those with the choreography) under guidance of our Super Ms. Gill and her dedicated teachers, teaches my daughter discipline while being creative and having lots of fun. She loves her Tuesdays and Saturdays thanks to Ms. Gill and her team! To sum up, Triple Promise is a rare gem of Bay Ridge and you should give it a try!

My son went to this acting school for a couple months then took a break to do something else meanwhile while doing something else he constantly kept talking about Jill and acting. He stopped that other activity and went back to acting with Jill. Now they are putting on great plays and working very hard. He sings and dances and is acting. Jill has specialist for each part of acting: singing, dancing, lines. My son's loves it and can't wait to go bacj next week.

This place is amazing! They offer so many programs for children of all abilities! Not only do they teach children the ins and outs of theater but they put on professional productions too all while providing each child with a loving and nurturing environment to grow. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves coming to her acting class. She enjoys spending time with her acting coach and her friends. Ms. Jill is an amazing acting coach, she goes above and beyond for the children. I can’t say enough about how amazing Triple Promise Academy has been for my kids. From my youngest to my oldest, both my kids love the way Jill coaches and supports them to be their best on and off stage. Beyond the group performances for my kids, Jill was also extremely instrumental in my daughter’s middle school audition process. Thanks to her coaching, guidance and recommendations on strong song choice and monologue, my daughter was accepted to her top choice program - a highly competitive NY city wide middle school.

My 9yo daughter joined Triple Promise for their first show and my 7yo son joined this year. I cannot speak highly enough about this program. Jill is professional and loving- the perfect combination for a teacher! My kids have learned so much and thanks to Jill and her team, they LOVE performing and have made amazing friends.
