I want to like it so bad but after my 3rd time trying this place, I’m very disappointed. The employees don’t wash their hands before making the drinks, the managers doesn’t do anything about it either. Very unfriendly people.

This place is gross! The food is always cold and never right. They’ve messed up my order twice out of the three times I went now. Last time I came, I got very sick from eating the food and my doctor said it was likely a stomach bug from food I ate! As someone who barely eats out, I was looking forward to a healthier option, but this place isn’t it! I feel bad for those poor employees as the place is dirty and the manager is extremely rude! You’d be lucky to get fired from this place lol!

You can get a big variety of s.oothoes hee. They're made fresh at time of ordering & each time I've ordered through the app, the smoothie has been ready when I arrived.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Let me preface this with I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I love the food, and the smoothies. I have gone to other locations and never have had an issue. At this point, I am wondering how this location has been so bad even though they only recently opened. Like is the owner terrible to their employees for the employees to get such terrible service? Poor training? Still figuring out kinks? I am so disappointed. And this isn’t based off of one or two visits. This is based off of several in person and DoorDash orders. I have never gotten an accurate order from this location. This includes the one time that I left the physical location, only to eat my food at home and discover an entire food label INSIDE OF my wrap. Another time where I left the physical location to find rice in the wrap I ordered (rice was not requested nor was it a standard ingredient in the wrap I ordered). Not to mention: (1) one time I ordered on DoorDash and the driver only delivered my smoothie, then when I went to reorder the location gave me the wrap I ordered that had been sitting there for hours rather than making a new one, (2) another DoorDash order where I was given an entirely different order with someone else’s name on it, (3) today where I gave y’all one last try and everything was labeled with my name but the food was incorrect. I truly hate giving bad reviews. I hate complaining about people who are likely only getting paid minimum wage. I worked in food service and in retail for a very long time and it sucks when customers are jerks. But I’ve just given this location so many chances. I was excited that this spot opened and it was much close to my house than other locations. But this is just unacceptable.

Every time I order for delivery through Uber Eats they forget the cookies and often times a straw. How can I drink a giant smoothie with no straw? If there are no cookies available, there is an option within the app to say they are not available so that I do not get charged. Even when I leave a note that says “please do not forget cookies” they still do not include them in my bag. Annoying!

My wife and I came here for the first time, it was fantastic. We got the wrap and smoothie combo. Everything was delicious. We will be back. Highly recommend.

I'm so discouraged by this location. I love tropical smoothie, I spend so much money here that I have enough points on my app to get free smoothies (which at a dollar a point, is a lot of dollars lol). I came to this location to pick up a doordash order on Aug 23 in the early afternoon, but I also wanted to place an order for myself as they're usually very fast and I can get away with it. However the staff treated me like I didn't exist. Literally walked past me several times (two different girls), and at one point I was standing directly in front of the register and the one girl decided to help the people who were standing behind me. It was awful, and I felt humiliated. I'm always very nice, I even said hello, how's it going? To the one girl. Nothing. As a line started to form behind me, I just decided to step aside and wait for my doordash order, and the one girl went out of her way to walk around me and place the order directly behind me, not a word. It was absolutely humiliating. I know I don't "look" like the typical tropical smoothie customer, but for them to completely ignore my existence, it was an awful feeling. I do doordash and recently I've been purchasing one, sometimes two smoothies here a day, while dashing, for myself. Not anymore. They won't be getting another cent from me, and I will make sure that my friends and family that have also been coming here will stop as well. Discrimination at its finest. Thanks for making me feel like a subpar human, tropical smoothie employees.

I thought I’d give this place a try after getting coupons in the mail. This place is the McDonald’s of smoothies, no real fruit and not good for you. I got the peanut butter cup smoothie and i asked if it was made with almond milk because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t made with normal milk. The worker laughed and said he was so embarrassed but it’s made with water. What? Who makes a chocolate flavored smoothie with water. Save your money and go to squeeze on main st they use all real and fresh ingredients. My smoothie tastes like a gross chocolate slushee. Seriously save your money

I’ve been coming here since it opened and the smoothies and food have been consistently great!

This was by far the worst smoothie place i’ve ever been to i’m a type 1 diabetic and specifically requested splenda and i saw them put regular sugar in it and had to correct them.if i hadn’t been paying attention i could’ve had a serious medical issue.i’m never coming back here and i’d advise you find another place to get a smoothie from especially if you have dietary issues/health restrictions.

I was reluctant to come here because of some reviews. I’ve been to other locations and this one was good as well, both the smoothie and food. My to go order was done quick, not to mention it’s a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy.

I went in and was waiting at the register for 5 minutes while the employees were hiding in the back giggling and watching videos. After having to make my presence known, they took my order and just messed around. I was the only order at the time. Plus, the tables were sticky when i sat down at a couple of them. Does no one work there or what?

I genuinely love tropical smoothie. The depew and Williamsville locations are great! And I get that the staff is trying to learn. But three days now I've had ruined by this specific tropical smoothie. I have a medical condition that requires that I have no added sugars. Natural (fruit) sugars are fine, but the added sugar (turbinado) will cause me to become very very ill. I'm writing this review from my bathroom floor after throwing up for over an hour. The rest of my day will be spent feeling weak and nauseated. And again. This is the 3rd time they have ignored my "No Turbinado" request - which is an option they offer on the online app! Why offer the option of you dont plan to have your staff follow it.
Again I've been to other locations and not experienced this. This isn't typical of all tropical smoothies. But seems to be of this one!
And I was genuinely so happy yall opened up around the corner! I'd rather drive the 20 mins to Williamsville to not be poisoned by something I specifically asked not to have in my beverage.

I didn't like this place. In Japan, fresh smoothies are made from fresh fruits. This place is McDonald's, but it's smoothies. Very unhealthy.

My daughter and I really love this place.
Delicious smoothies and yummy food.
Love the app where you can collect points and whatnot.
The only negative is that the music is extremely loud inside.

Won't lie, it's alr. The front girl Jenna is on top of everything! And made my order right and made sure I got it, the gentleman wearing the hat backwards is on top of orders aswell. I'll definitely be back when I'm out this way again

I have loved all of my experiences so far at this new location! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I can tell they work hard to get everyone’s orders taken care of quickly. It’s normally very busy at this location but they still manage to get my order right and ready in a timely manner. 10/10 worth the money and a new favorite of mine:)

Smoothie tasted like absolute garbage. I’m a regular at the tropical smoothie in Williamsville, it’s just so inconvenient because it’s a 25 minute drive from my place. I was so happy to hear a new location closer to me was opening and was glad that that was going to be my new regular location. The staff were okay, could use more diversity honestly speaking. I got my smoothie and it was so bad I couldn’t finish it. I wasted my money I was so upset. I decided to give them a second chance and just thought it was one bad smoothie. I came back another day and I feel like my smoothie was even worse. Definitely not going to be my new regular location.

We have been to this Tropical Smoothie location a few times now and every time has been a very pleasant, positive experience! The staff is friendly and efficient, and the smoothies are always perfect! We also love their flatbreads and wraps. We are so glad there's a location closer to our house!

Staff named Gabby gave me an attitude when I asked if she could hurry up with my order. I ordered at 1: 00, and it took around 1: 25 to get my order which was a single smoothie. I was late to an important meeting due to my service being delayed. (P. S, the smoothie didn't even taste good at all, straight up watered down.)
