Working with William was a great experience. He was always available and flexible with his time. Additionally, when we had to pause the process for some time, he made sure to follow up adequately.

Frustrated and upset. Was told from the beginning of the mortgage loan process that we would be able to close on our new home before Christmas. We had all of our ducks in a row and so did the seller. The appraisal was late on their report and took forever. There seemed to be a huge lack of communication between William Jenz at the branch who we worked with and corporate. It is one thing to promise we would get in before Christmas then keep changing our closing dates to December 28 to December 29. Then saying. “if we sign the last piece of paperwork we can have you in December 24th, to now it possibly being January 4th. Trustco is a small bank that seems to be highly unorganized. They do have some decent loan programs but other than that stay away! Giving your word is a big thing with my family and I and Trustco broke theirs multiple times. If we weren’t so far into the process we would go another route and I suggest you do if you haven’t started the process yet. Hope this helps!
