Udon is bad. First time here was a novelty with the massive bowl and large spoon (portion size itself is normal). Sukiyaki was a bit sweet, but otherwise fine. Came a second time and it was quite bad. Soup wasn’t tasty and the noodles were like poor quality. Took back leftovers and couldn’t bring myself to eat it. The sashimi was fresh and tasty tho! But for udon? Please avoid this place and just go to Raku

I stopped by mid afternoon and ordered an old-fashioned, duck, salmon sashimi, and truffle fries. A beautiful afternoon of flavors in a quiet, stylish venue. I felt lucky to be able to enjoy this uncrowded, welcoming place.

I really like this place. It had ample seating and wasn't mobbed like so many of the restos near Union Square. Delicious spicy udon noodle soup!

Many things went wrong.
1. Menu was altered for new year's eve, forcing customers to opt for the more expensive option.
2. The waiter barely paid us a visit to our table. We wanted to order more items but were never able to get the waiter's attention.
3. The restaurant ran out of fish when we ordered ALL YOU CAN EAT!
4. The waitress seemed to not write down what we ordered and forgot two of our orders!
5.18% gratuity was added to the bill despite the horrible service we received.
Unacceptable.

The udon was below my expectation.undon noodle was soggy and some were sticking to each other: (I also ordered the sea&truffle (xphoto) the roll was actually fresh and I liked the combination of truffle mayo with the roll! Personally the udon is not worth a try

We had a reservation at 8: 30 PM and it was almost new year and New York was super crowded in where I live. It took me 45 mins to get to the restaurant because of the bad traffic.we ended up being there 14 minutes late than our reservation and the waitress told us we cannot enter the restaurant because their kitchen is going to close in 1 hour. We told her we usually eat fast and won’t even take that long and she still said no, we were not allowed to enter because we arrived 14 mins. Worst experience ever

This was probably one of the worst meals I’ve had while living in New York City. The person I was eating with described my ramen as tasting like what the dirty trash water would taste like, and that was 100% accurate. The first time neither of us finished our food at a restaurant. Spent a ton of money, left hungry, and the staff was too busy to care to check on us. So disappointed

Food was extremely mediocre- lack of overall flavor. Very large bowls and portions so good for sharing at least. Decent service.

We ordered shrimp tempura roll, spicy creme shrimp temp, truffle creme snow crab, the shrimp tempura roll was a 10/10, it was perfect, the spice, salt, crunchy… everything was so perfect, and spicy creme shrimp temp was not as spicy as we expected it would be, we liked the quantity it is good for a full meal for two people what we ordered was more than enough, nice place for a random date, food would not disappoint you and the ambience was a 7/10. Parking is not present specifically. I am adding menu to the photos

Love this place!

I’ve been there more than 15 times over the years. Just last week we went there for lunch with my coworker. We got there around noon and there was no line at all.

They have happy hours 12PM-6PM. Average price of udon $20-25. Other day we went there just for drinks and I can’t complain.

I like how they designed this place as well.

There is all you can eat options, but I haven’t tried it yet.

I ordered the shabu-shabu course for $68.
A system where you pay for the remaining time within the 90-minute time limit.
I was worried about the time and was in a hurry, but I was full within an hour. Although the vegetables and other items for the shabu-shabu that I ordered at the beginning arrived, they were still simmering, and I was a little disappointed that it was so slow that 6 items arrived before the meat arrived. I was happy to order Wagyu beef as it was part of this course, but it wasn't marbled and had a lot of muscle and fat (pictured), so I regretted that I should have ordered one dish and ordered USDA Prime Strip Loin beef (later). When I asked my friends about it, they said it was soft and delicious.)
The beef tongue was delicious. In addition, the menu was extensive, the sashimi was fresh, and the hamachi was delicious. I was able to order so many different things that I couldn't take photos of, including wagyu sushi, fried soft shell crab, avocado salad, grilled duck, and scallop tempura. Next time, I would like to go and eat the udon separately.

***The third time***
I know that my first and second time the service is horrible but I still love their food. Lol
So I decided to visit this place again and finally they improved their service.
The waitress and runner are nice. They take a good care of us. The food served more faster and not forget anything.
And the food is also yummy.
Thank you so much for your work hard to improve the restaurant. I really like your food.

***The second time***
I gave this restaurant a second chance for try the all you can eat buffet.
The service still horrible as the same.
We order two soups but we get only one soup.
They always forget what we ordered.
You have to put all your afford to get attention from them.
How many percent of tips that they expect from this kind of service?
When the friend of the waiter came to sit on the table next from us. They get extremely friendly attention from him.

Our soup has dried into the bottom of the pot but no one care.
We do understand that it all you can eat but we probably not allows to be able to get the food from the kitchen but believe me if I can I will.
Therefore, my first review is below.

***First review***
We went there for the all you can eat but unfortunately we can't be there on time.
The waitress said that the all you can eat and Japanese hotpot function has stopped serving at 8: 30 pm and we was there at 8: 35 pm even the restaurant has closed at 10: 00 pm.
So we try their Udon instead of Japanese hotpot.
The Udon bowl is so elegant. The portion is extremely big.
Unfortunately one of our friends order her favorite thing 'Uni udon' but the Uni got fishy smell and we have to wait so long before the waitress come to check on us.
Then she bring the whole bowl back to kitchen and com back with the answer 'the Uni hasn't imported from Japan so it got some smell. ' We didn't have any argument with her on that day because that was an answer from the chef. So we just asked her to take it back and take it out from the bill.

And hope they understand that people who love to eat Uni know that it fresh or not. Maybe just our unlucky day.
By the way the other bowl which consists of beef and sukiyaki soup is awesome. I definitely come back for this or try to find time to get there earlier for the Japanese hotpot.

I once worked in this restaurant. The chef and colleagues were mentally ill. I advise everyone not to patronize this restaurant again!

Cravings satisfied! Get the sushi and mini udon combo! I highly recommend their tsuruton sushi roll and the uni creme udon. The tsuruton sushi roll had yummy cuts of tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. Their mini curry katsu udon was amazing too.

I had 1 sip of the udon broth and was done. No flavor at all. Returned it and they wanted to charge me still. Never coming back and DO NOT RECOMMEND

Atmosphere great, service was okay! If the restaurant cares about their customers at all they would take the osaka style udon off of the menu.it was the worst meal i've ordered in my whole life!

before ordering for my little brother, we asked the waitress: "is it good? ". She said "its a stir fry. " so since she didnt say yes or no which shouldve been a red flag.but we mistakingly ordered it anyway.it was the most disgusting dish i ever tried.i got it for my brother though, so he felt obligated to eat it, plus he was really hungry.it was based in a mayonaise sauce and then on top of that it was covered in mayonaisse.imagine how you would feel if you had to finish a bottle of mayonaise for a cash price on fear factor.thats basically what eating this dish felt like.anyway, other than that one dish, the food was awesome, and the enviornment was great! I just hope they remove the dish from the menu or substantially improve it somehow!

Had the sukiyaki which was really fun! Good, but a bit thin, meat. The udon, soup are especially great.the mushroom side dish was also surprisingly good.

I had an underwhelming experience here. The hostess could have been more polite, and the menu was quite perplexing. The portion sizes were excessively large and overhyped. Prices were reasonable, though.

This place is very nice, and clean. Staff are very nice. The udon bowl is very large; I order the No. 4 seller US Wagyu Deluxe Sukiyaki, it’s a little salty (personal taste), but other are all good, especially the sausage.

Udon was good but expensive. Kind of light on beef compared to other udon I've had. Atmosphere and layout is cool, but the service and the follow-up was fair at best. It was busy, so that might have been a factor.
