Tulcingo Restaurant, Queens NY

A fatal restaurant from the terrible service to the somewhat terrible food and the complaint was made to the employees and their response was we were going to tell the owner and one as a customer paying very high prices to receive this type of service the tortillas beaten in lemon oil rotten, terrible sauces, damaged and you lose what you spend on placing your order to get to eat with your family. Tulcingo was one of the best restaurants in all its locations, but since Mr. Leonel left, the owner no longer cares about giving a good service to your clients

I ordered some tacos and in addition to the expensive prices they were extremely spicy, that should be optional or bring the spicy winged one like all the other places

Excellent cleanliness. Delicious tortas (milanesa de pollo is my favorite). Aguas frescas are also good. The service is basic.

Ok at best. Very pricey especially when compared to all the good street food around. The tacos were very dry. We got the mixto for about 16 dollars. Only the birria was decent. The chorizo was large chunks very dry with little flavor and similar for the carnitas. Chips and salsa was at least free since clearly they came from a bag and a bottle. Just nothing felt authentic or house made everything looked and tasted like it came from Sysco or restaurant depot. Location has little inside but tables, very brightly lit. Menu selection besides the tacos was just standard Mexican restaurant fare but all priced high. Tres leche cake seemed like it probably came from a grocery store too, and was stale, but at least a large portion. We didn't finish it. Our server was attentive and at least got us in and out quickly.

Food was tasteless.
Called to place an order still waited more time for the order. Guy at counter gave me attitude didn’t put napkins in my bag.
And paid $16 for a sandwich.
At least make the seasoning make me say it’s worth the money.
So disappointed

Hello, I like the place, the food, the attention, but I have two experiences, which have charged me more, but everything is fine

Honestly if i could give a lower score i would, this place keeps going downhill each year and the prices shoot up for no reason at all when the portions become smaller, today i order 4 tortas (2 milanesa de pollo and 2 milanesa de res) which took more than an hour to get to my house and when i opened up the food the meats were all combined, each torta had both pollo and res in them and i didn't order them like that, the taste was completely off having a very sour taste to it and the portions were surprisingly small for $52, i remember loving this place as a child growing up but now as an adult this place has gotten worse throughout the years

Amazing, a true gem. Found this place while working in Queens last week. The place was recommended to me by one of the locals and it turned out to be a GREAT recommendation. The food was excellent, the place was clean and inviting and the service above and beyond! If you're in Corona and you love Mexican food, come to Tulcingo. I had the carnitas tostadas, AMAZING!

Food amazing, service great. But I don’t like the ppl that goes inside and asking about change or a dollar and the venders! I mean i don’t mind helping ppl but not what I’m eating!

Very nice restaurant, clean establishment, very kind and friendly staff. Their customer service is amazing and their food is the best. Fresh ingredients and extremely flavorful. The place was very busy when we came in but our waitress was very attentive and we got our orders fast.

The place is good but the food lacks flavor, I wouldn't recommend it for people with a very good palate.
The service is good, the bad thing is that in this restaurant they do not sell beer or any drink that contains alcohol. Normally, on a good weekend, people usually eat and drink something, but for a restaurant that does not have beer or other types of drinks, it is not consumable in my case otherwise I would not return to a restaurant like this there are more options and cheaper here everything is very expensive not even in Manhattan it is so expensive but it is everyone's opinion otherwise I am not satisfied with this restaurant I repeat the very good service

I should say I'm a huge fan of Mexican food. But this food is so good the desserts are legendary and the juices are great I would come back again and again

The food is so good.what amazes me, those who answer, wait a moment, they give you another one and an amount, they are taking your order and wait a moment. If you are going to take the order, take it and don't be with your boss for a moment.
