Turtle Rescue Of The Hamptons reviews
15I want to THANK Karen at the Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons for CARING! Her HELP and KINDNESS went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me rehome my very SPECIAL classroom pet of many years… a Red Eared Slider named Robin since I am getting ready to retire and move to another state. Karen found Robin an AMAZING and PERFECT home where he will be taken care of, and have many turtle friends. I could not have been LUCKIER or HAPPIER that Karen picked up the phone and guided me through this process. THANKS to everyone at the Turtle Rescue of the Hamptons for HELPING and PROTECTING these AMAZING animals️️
Excellent hospital for native turtles that is open 24/7 all year. Clean and beautifully operated. A sanctuary for permenantly injuried to live in peace. The staff work very hard to care for the injured patients
I spoke with a woman named Karen, I had a situation with my tortoise and she was able to help me and find me the perfect fit for what I needed. So grateful for the help of this turtle rescue. Thank you guys!
They posted a very large tortoise tangled up in a hose trying to get relief. The person working started filming this and posted (instagram stories) this poor reptile in distress. It was abusive. She said the turtle was "playing". Let's see her tangled up in a hose trying to get out of it and film it for entertainment and say she is just playing. I will never forget the look in that animals eyes during in this film.
The reason why I loved Turtle Rescue Of The Hamptons is because It’s right next to my house.
The best! Always willing to help land turtles that are injured or have been kept as pets. Has a sanctuary in the back for those who cannot be released. A wonderful place!
TROTH helps SO many. I found a baby turtle in a parking lot running for its life so I called them. They immediately helped me on a Sunday evening get this baby back to where it needed to be. They are so amazing. Please support their mission!
These wonderful people take care of hurt turtle and anything else that might need their help. They take care of hundreds of turtles. They operate on donations.
Wonderful place.they take care of wounded turtles. When they are well they are released. My sister was dropping off some goodies for the turtles.watermelon and kale.its not a place for a typical visit. It's a rescue.
Thanks to turtle rescue my turtle has never been happier thanks to Karen, who paired me with a large turtle in need of a good home. My turtle had shared her life with another turtle for 20 years and in May she passed away and my sole turtle was never the same. Thank goodness karen saved my contact info and was able to find me a turtle to now share their lives. Karen is very concerned, caring and knowledgeable. Thank you for making these turtles happy again!
I work for fedex and Found a turtle on the road this morning.called the turtle rescue and she came within minutes
Called this rescue group today after we found a snapping turtle in the road. The lady took the time on the phone to help us and make sure the turtle was safe. Even texted after to confirm everything was okay. They were very helpful and are clearly very passionate about what they do.
I love what these people do. The woman that runs this place is awesome! She is saving the world, one turtle at a time
I cannot say enough kind things about this place, we found an injured turtle on the side of the road with a fracture shell.after calling as many “emergency vets” as possible & driving to a wildlife rescue that is supposed to have overnight hours/care & finding no one was there we were given the number of turtle rescue of the hamptons.within 3 rings my call was answered by the kindest woman who was supposed to be at home relaxing & she agreed to meet us at the rescue location where she took in the sweet injured turtle & has kept us updated and even sent us a picture of the sweet little guy all bandaged up and resting! Thank you so so much for the wonderful work you are doing you guys are angels on earth!
