Pros.great decor and great location. It is very conveniently located. Nice staff as well. My bed was super soft so if you a bed person keep that in mind. Hard to sleep late with shared bathrooms because you can hear everyone coming and going. Breakfast was just ok.

We had a wonderful getaway at Twin Gables. Leanne is amazing; we had to add my 5-year-old daughter last minute and she was so accommodating. The rooms are beautiful and the shared space is so stylishly decorated. We will definitely be back!

Just can’t say enough nice things about Twin Gables, from the warm greeting upon arrival to the hospitality throughout our stay from Leanne to the other guests we got to share laughs with. We even got to listen to some cool records! Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Warm welcoming atmosphere! Leeann was very helpful, suggesting activities and restaurants. Perfect for a couple or friends getaway. We are already planning our next stay at Twin Hables.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Twin Gables as a weekend getaway from New York City. LeAnn answered questions and provided a ton of recommendations for us prior to booking. The check-in process was simple, and we got a cool tour of the house and it’s vibrant decor before seeing our room. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast was provided each morning (yogurt, pastries, OJ) in the vintage communal kitchen. We were able to come and go as we pleased thanks to the automated lock system, another thoughtful feature. LeAnn really made our stay at Twin Gables feel special, and we can wait to recommend it to friends!

Love love love this hotel. It is so cute and personal, and the owner is lovely. Loved hanging out in the parlor and the Christmas decor. I will definitely be coming back.

That being said watch out for the seller across the street, Paca Mama, they will intentionally overcharge you if they think they can get away with it (if you're paying by card and receiving an emailed receipt). I bought gloves ($15) and a jacket ($50) totalling to $65 before tax. The owner rang up the card and emailed the receipt, it was only later on when reviewing the receipt I saw that he rang the card up for $70 making the total purchase 75.56 with tax. It was an older man with black hair in a ponytail who did this to me. It was only $5 but to some people five bucks can mean a lot. I recommend buying your cool hippy swag down the road - no one else did this to us.

That aside, Woodstock was great and I highly recommend this hotel!

Clean and spacious rooms, quiet and charming. Located downtown and easy to accommodate last minute guests.

Felt like my home. Staff so sweet, very clean, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Right on Tinker Street. A great place to just relax, rest, laugh, and talk about the old days. 1969! And love the gazebo

I stayed for 2 nights in a single room but what I did not realize was that it had no bathroom so do check if your room has its own facilities or it means trekking down the hall in the middle of the night AND sharing a shower with other guests. They do not make your bed either. The guest house advertises parking but with 4 spaces for 11 or so rooms it is not always available, LIMITED parking would be a better description. The internet did not work, or worked so slowly that it was not usable, even for e mails. When I informed the staff of this I was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders and the comment ‘it worked fine for me’. Other guests were clearly having the same problem. Breakfast was not available until 8.30am and as staff do not arrive before 8 there is no provision for early an earlier time. It is conveniently located but I would never stay there again.

Stayed one night while attending show at Levons' Barn. Very clean, great staff, and coffee and muffins on the morning. Very simple and nice.

Nice rooms. They supply some beverages: soy milk, Keurig coffee, filtered water on tap, tea bags (although I believe there is no way to heat the tea water other than putting it through the coffee machine!).

I HAVE VISITED TWIN GABLES SINCE I WAS A CHILD. IT ALWAYS DELIGHTS THE SENSES & MAKES ONE FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE STEPPED INTO ANOTHER ERA. EXCEPT THAT ALL CONVINIENCES ARE RIGHT THERE. AND GREAT WELCOMING STAFF TO ASSIST IN THE WOODSTOCK EXPERIENCE!

My sister and I have been using the Twin Gables Bed & Breakfast for the last five years consistently as our lodging when we stay in Woodstock. Recently the establishment disappointed us with their rude and unprofessional behavior. We made our usual reservation for January 20 2014 and both traveled 3 hours each to be greeted by a rude receptionist. He was appalled that my sister had her 3 year old with her when she walked through the entrance. So much so that my sister couldn't even give me a hug as he shouted and yelled at her, "Children don't stay here! " She apologized that she was unaware of such a policy and we had previously stayed there when he was about a year old. She calmly asked to speak to the owner and said if it was a problem to just refund her credit card. The receptionist who was on the telephone with the owner said, "He's on Wall Street and he is too busy to speak to you. Get your bags and leave immediately. " My sister and I complied, but were shocked at the barbaric treatment we received as he practically threw our bags on the street while she was asking to get the refund. My sister called Twin Gables to follow up on her refund shortly after our trip. She spoke to women on the phone that told her that she was a liar and had never stayed there with the baby prior to the incident and when asked about her refund said "She should know better. " We understood the policy and were just asking for our refund. I find the way the situation was handled a disgrace. I would have liked Twin Gables to issue the refund without the unprofessional dramatics. I will attach a photo of my sister, mother, and baby in Twin Gables prior and can assure you my sister did not sneak him in and is no liar.
