Ty's Bar NYC

Great atmosphere. Very friendly patrons. Accidentally spilt part of my drink and bartender was extremely sympathetic. Helped clean it up and offered discount on next round. Definitely I will be a returning customer.

Chill bar, strong drinks, and you can hear yourself while having a conversation! Definitely will be back with my friends

Gary in the bar was the best. Serviceminded to 100% and so sexy. We betted about his name and we got all wrong.

I found this bar on my own and I had a blast, our little bartender wasnt little but the biggest heart, Gary. Fun, great music, not pretentious

The bar is small and it's very busy all the time. Bartender a little rude and treats well only who he knows. I've been there at 5pm. It must have somebody better at night I guess. Won't be back easily.

Fun bar depending when you go. During Pride 50 it was very crowded but the staff was still friendly with an upbeat attitude.

The Friendliest Gay Bar in Greenwich Village [ West Village for Visitors]. A Must for down to earth, jeans and tee shirt (or no t-shirt Men). Please visit all visitors, and strike up a converstation.

I have been here a couple of times. Each time the bartenders were nice and attentive. There are some sexy bears here lol. Need a change in scenery then definitely stop by and have a drink. Cheers!

Ty's bar supposed to be a leather bar. But now it's changing, mostly anyone can enjoy the bar now. Great music, Great bartender's, polite crowd. The ultimate 100% review. But stay away from the hanger bar across the street. There's alot of hoodlums in that bar. If you don't want to get you wallet pick pocketed you'll stay away from the hanger bar.

The bartenders and customers are friendly, the drinks are inexpensive. It's a good place to start conversations or to spend time with friends.

Small, cosy, vaguely a gay bar, nothing special. Christopher Street seems to be gentrifying the gay bars out of existence

Over the years I've tried to like this bar. Friend do. It is a square small room. You can smile. Say hello. Be open. Yet bartenders to customers all are unsocial unfriendly. Luckybif you cannorder what serns always to be a warm beer. Stand and stare. Told it's a neighborhhood bar. A bear bar. You must be local and known. Well, I'm local. Stopped over and over for years. It is always the same. So unless I have friends insisting on going to Ty's. I enjoy all the other bars and hospitality inn the area. Though you can have conversations, as a passerby with Ty customers standing outside door smoking.

Wonderful spot with an excellent staff! Crowd was friendly and inviting, as well. Drinks were extremely reasonable in price with a great selection. It may have been Latin night when we went, and the music was perfect! I’m definitely coming back when I visit NYC. Thanks for welcoming us. ️️

A true dive bar in the west village! The cheap drinks, friendly staff and the eclectic atmosphere always make for a very fun evening.
