I own an older 28-inch 2-stage Toro snow thrower that operates and runs great as I take decent care of my equipment. However, in the middle of winter this year I discovered one of my 15-inch tires was flat. Upon further investigation found the leak was between the tire bead and the rim where painted metal flakes of rust was breaking the tire seal. I attempted using Fix-A-Flat, but to my dismay; it did not stop the leak due to the extensive rim rust and corrosion. I decided to attempt on my own to do a more through permanent repair for both tires as the other tire was soon to be experiencing the same issues too. To the contrary, I found difficulty physically removing the tire from the small rim. Furthermore due to the expense of purchasing necessary tire changing equipment for small tires I would use only a couple of times in my lifetime at most was not cost effective. It was then I decided to seek someone with more expertise in this matter. I Googled and found Ty‘s Small Engine Repair in my area along with other similar small engine competitors. I first contacted other businesses assuming I would have this tire project completed faster with the larger repair shops; but to much of my surprise their cost estimates were too high in my estimation and especially too long of a wait to begin the work in the middle the winter when I needed it! One local business indicated they had time to add tire tubes to the tires, but no time to remove rust and repaint the rims. I wanted the rims resurfaced and painted too! After reading Ty’s (Tyler’s) positive reviews online attesting to his dedicated work performance and positive work ethics from others, I was encouraged to give Tyler a try. At first phone contact with Tyler, I was impressed at his genuine desire and willingness to help me at a fair price estimate for the work that needed to be completed; I was all the more eager to seek his support! After dropping off my tires and speaking one on one with Tyler, his cooperation in working with me and honestly the method how he would bring my old rust pitted paint flaking rims back to life was uplifting. Tyler demonstrated to me the confidence he could do the job! I found Tyler is a friendly, mature, down to earth, dedicated, determined, honest, and pleasant person to talk with coupled with a wealth of knowledge and experience Tyler claimed he gained as an young apprentice working years with his father in small engines for a young lad. It shows! When I went to pick up my tires over a week later; Tyler did a great job using tires tubes I furnished him in addition to resurfacing the rust off the rims, adding new coat of paint, and putting my tires back into fully functional condition! His pricing is fair! Tyler is not out to rip you off by no means! He works with you! I am now back in action to tackle winter! I recommend Ty’s Small Engine Repair to anyone who needs any kind of service with their larger yard and outdoor equipment or recreational vehicles! If I have any future problems with my equipment, I will be going back to seeing Tyler!

Ty repaired my Cub cadet mower engine. His service was quick and he went above and beyond in tuning it up before giving it back to me. Very reasonably priced as well.
