Go into walk in certain I have a sinus infection. The PA simply looked at my throat and completed a swab for strep…I had zero symptoms of strep. Didn’t even check my nose or ears and thought I should get a flu and covid test. All negative. Refused to give me antibiotics saying it’s viral. Stated I should come back in a few days if it doesn’t change. Unqualified people here. It’s all about politics and money. Never again will I use UHS.absolute joke.

Worst experience in my life at an urgent care, I would expect individuals entrusted with caring for the well being, and I’m some cases lives, of human beings to be a bit more…. Well caring.

I came in they told me a 2.5hr wait so I asked if they could take my number and call me to come in, that said yes. So that’s what I did but they called in 1.5 hrs and when I got there said “yea you were a no show, you’re going to the bottom of the list, AND you’re going to have to pay that 100$ again. ”

If they were not willing or able to call me before going then they should’ve said that before saying okay and taking my number.

Ridiculous. Good riddance to this place.

This place charges an arm and a leg for tests! 6 Urinary Track diagnosis labs cost over $1000! 6 tests! I've been paying my family's medical bills for decades and never saw lab test expenses like this. Don't go here and if you choose to, make it a last resort and ask prices on everything.

I had a UHS virtual walk-in visit on Sunday. It’s a great resource for patients of UHS that need care but prefer to stay in the comfort of their own home. I was so sick and feverish that I felt I couldn’t manage going out and sitting in a waiting room, I also suspected I was contagious and shouldn’t be around others. I logged in and within minutes I was visiting with a provider. I had a video call from my own bed, similar to when Doctors would call upon the sick at home! I’m feeling better today and I’m so pleased with having a virtual option!

Be careful of going here. They do not clean the rooms and you can catch covid inside the building

Love the staff here but the fact that your back entrance is still closed is absolutely ridiculous.

I went to the walk in last week. I called first because I had tested positive for Covid. They said to come in. The female who took my vitals was extremely mean to the point where I had to go out to the desk and complain. I did eventually get seen. I live very close to this place, and my doctor is there. I do not feel safe going there again!

Awful absolutely awful. Signed in with my wife we waited 2 hours til I was called which isn’t the issue. Then somehow another 45 min goes by still Havnt called my wife back and was told there was over 5 people ahead of her…. That’s not possible! It’s like heath care bingo you get in when they decide to pick your name from a hat.

The staff is incredibly kind and working very hard to get everyone in as quick as possible. The nursing staff are absolute superstars! They had me in and out before my scheduled appointment time. Thank you for getting me in and out as quickly as possible! I appreciate you!

If you are a Binghamton student DO NOT GO HERE. I have gone twice to this walk in clinic and both times they gave me medication that either didnt work or made me worse. I went to the clinic for my second time ever with a bad cough. They did not tell me my diagnosis, only stated that it didnt sound like I had covid. They ran no tests of any kind and just prescribed me with two antibiotics. After just taking them twice I started throwing up every time I took them. After finishing both prescriptions I felt no better and actually worse. I got no sleep at night because my cough turned into wheezing and I couldnt catch my breathe. After having this cough for almost 4 weeks i decided to go to the UHS general hospital, they told me that in my chart from the walk in clinic they put that i had a sinus infection, which was actually not the case. I ended up developing BRONCHITIS due to being given the wrong antibiotics. Since this experience I have posted about it on my socials and I have had other Binghamton students tell me they went through similar scenarios. I will NEVER go there again.

I did the online check in and the wait time was 2 hours and 39 minutes which is completely understandable due to the times. BUT… I showed up at 6: 30 which was 10 minutes early and checked in. Waited about an hour and noticed that people who checked in after me were being taken before me. After the 5th person I finally went up and asked if I was forgotten about. Which, I was. They didn’t say that. They told me they’d add me back to the queue and move me to the top. And then I continued to watch 3 more people who were not ahead of me… go on in. Honestly, I hate complaining. But I’m sick… I shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours to be seen at the walk in. Nor did I even receive an apology.

Waited two hours to meet a Dr that never even introduced himself only to be told I have Shingles and to just endure! No mention of pain relief or cure, just that I need to ride it out raw! I got more help from Web MD! Never again,

The story you are about to read is a nightmare that has become part of my everyday life. To give 1 star is generous, the staff of this facility really deserve -1 star. It started 3/15/2020 when my hands were chemically burned during an on the job accident (witnesses, incident report the whole 9 yards) and I went to this facility under my employers direction to get evaluated.

A nurse/ some lady at this facility "understood the situation" opened my workers comp claim and then checked marked a box on the paper work saying "This incident did not happen at work". This is obviously incorrect and after several phone calls she refused to fix the paperwork.

The lawyer on the other team had a field day in front of the judge with the incorrect paperwork and I lost my workers comp case.

Everyday since the at work accident I have intense burning pain in my hands. Even typing this and performing my daily life routines is nearly impossible. Everyday the condition gets worse despite $6k in personal medical expenses chasing various treatments and seeing various doctors.

This is completely unacceptable behavior of "medical professionals" but that's what I had to deal with from this facility and its "team". What a nightmare. My life completely changed and she wouldn't take two seconds to fix the paperwork.

I dont know what else to say but they are liars and cheats who dont stand up for their patients.

Think twice before trusting this UHS facility with anything medically important. What a joke but the jokes on me for the rest of my life.

I wonder how many people in the medical field would still be working in it if they made minimum wage….

This was a very good experience. I had a blocked ear canal. The Nurse actually remembered me from quite a long time ago. I was amazed and pleased. My provider, a PA is a person with hearing impairment as I am, was thorough and helpful as well having empathy with my issue. The wait and the appointment took about 45 minutes. Thank you both for your care.

Very quick and professional visit! I was expecting a long wait but was pleasantly surprised. Dr Zarrini was thorough and professional. Receptionist and X ray tech also pleasant and professional!
