Man, one of them old school joints with bread on the table and portions that'll have you saying marone that's some good eats!

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is great, a real can't miss. 5 of my uncles yelling "OH" out of 5.

Service was too slow. Food was okay. The waiting staff overworked or not too enthusiastic. Perhaps a weekday one off thing given the overwhelming positive reviews.

Pretty disappointed. Ordered a regular pie and house salad with grilled chicken. The pizza was average. The salad, left alot to be desired. Chicken was a bit rubbery and mostly lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and olives. Italian bread, stale and hard. And the wait time was ridiculous, over 1/2 hour.

Great pizza here. I was introduced to this place by my best friend and his wife about 3 years ago and I keep coming back. Love it

Staff were awesome very attentive. Food was great but the portions were very small. Small portions is not what I would expect from this place because it’s a family style restaurant. I think the portions were small because I was part of a large group with a set menu.

Went here for New Years Eve for their pizza. … We love their pizza, but apparently you can’t get pizza in the restaurant section. So I settled for the fettuccini carbonara. Worst carbonara I’ve ever had. The service was a bit rough, too. He only took half the table’s drink order, then left for a while and finally took the 2nd half of the table’s order, hence ruining our toast. For the prices they charge, it was not a great experience.

Perhaps one of the TASTIEST Pizzas I have had in my entire life! I tried their Grandma’s and Deep Dish and both were Crème de la Crème! I you “like Pizza” you are guaranteed to LOVE UMBERTO’S of New York!

Food was delicious. There was six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. And all we're different. Large wine list and service very good.

Excellent food and pizza.period. Great for takeout. But, the restaurant can get crowded and can be very loud. Fine for family dining but not the best for a quiet dinner out. Personally, I prefer the Umberto in Syosset to sit for a meal. Still, it's quality food at a reasonable price. If you are closer to Mineola, I recommend Cugini as a solid and less expensive alternative.

Just ordered Grandma pie.tasted terrible, very SALTY, the crust is sooo hard to chew.
Tasted like not freshly made crust.
Will never order again.

The grandma’s slice was so good.
Thin and crispy crust. They also have brick oven pizza.

Been a regular customer was disappointed with the smaller food portion and service. Had to ask for bread and cheese.

Good pizza but never listens to directions when ordering which is frustrating. Multiple times have asked for extra sides and will pay when ordering delivery but does not listen. Last order received was burnt

I have been going to Umberto's for a while now (at least a decade and counting), and I always love going here. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. A few years ago, I needed to go gluten-free, and I am grateful that I am still able to enjoy Umberto's regardless, for they have gluten-free (cauliflower) pizza crust and gluten-free pasta. This is some of the best Italian food you can get in the neighborhood, so I highly recommend!
