Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, Port Jefferson Station NY

Always great for an easy dinner and while not always consistent they are the best Italian supermarket but not equal to an Italian butcher or pork store

I never though shopping could be magical but going on a Sunday afternoon, getting fresh mozzarella and garlic bread while listening to live music, smelling fresh popped popcorn and watching them making homemade chocolate, it's like an Italian dinner version of willy wonka

It's a great family friendly place, I love it and the hard workers who help us plus theres always entertainment inside and outside, obviously because of the pandemic there was a great guy, @RyanDelaney plus I will add the wonderful food an water I bought as well.xoxo

Today I had a cashier who wouldn't put in the card for me first time since September. So I put the stuff back and I will give my money to someone else. 2nd time I had a not so pleasant shopping experience at this store. Not sure why its a problem all of a sudden but they just lost a few thousand dollars because of this one persons decision. Goodbye and good luck.

Went there to take out premade food for Valentines day. The Penne Alla Vodka w/Chicken cutlet ($16.99), tasted fine, but only contained 6, yes 6 small chunks of chicken. The jumbo shrimp platter in a red plastic heart, held 24 over cooked shrimp, and a very sweet cocktail sauce, for get this, $29.99! I only noticed the price when I got home, gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that they would be great, for that price, only to be very annoyed at being ripped off.

Love it! Everything is really fresh, the store is well stocked & easy to navigate and it smells soooo good!

Great meat and fish market. Wonderful atmosphere. My only gripe is the homemade artichokes behind counter aren't good at all. Dry.no garlic.crumbs fall off as soon as you move artichoke. It's like an artichoke with bread crumbs just thrown on top

Rancid old smell once cooked was a commercial baymen retired know bad seafood caught to sold time too long.
In my opinion older than 7 days.

This store is good. It's very confusing if you have not been in one. Staff is very well trained. And knowledgeable in their products.

Uncle g's is amazing. Frank in bakery is always smiling. Rob the front mananger always looks like gq! Just love shopping there. Everyone is so friendly.

Awsome place. Great meat, fresh sauce and cheese. Everything is always fresh and the place is extremely clean

They think too much of themselves. Food is adequate, if way overpriced. More of an event than shopping. For something special, it works, but not for everyday shopping.

As always Uncle Giuseppe's my favorite grocery store. If you like Italian it's the place to go.

very wide selection of primarily italian foodstuffs, if you're not looking for italian you may want to shop somewhere else

Nice selection of prepared foods. The store is clean and neat. Speedy checkouts. I love that you can get sushi and sandwiches after 8pm for buy one get one.

Friendly workers clean store a bit pricey for basic pre-made meals it shouldn't cost twice as much just because it's pre-made/1 piece of meat loaf/1piece of chicken and 1 piece of salmon $25.00?

Good but pricey. However I did have issues with freshness. Bought mozzarella rice balls and mold developed a day before the sell by date so I haven't gotten breaded items from the deli counter since then. They mail coupons occasionally so it may spur you to shop there but sure there are less expensive grocery shopping options
