Uncle Sam Boat Tours reviews
23Informative, I liked that the boat went slow enough to take nice pictures yet fast enough to had an enjoyable experience.
Good value to see the St Lawrence and beautiful islands. Hard to hear the narration over the engine noise.
It was nice tour. The time was enough to see everything interesting, there is tour guide who speak about the buildings and the islands which we're going around in the lake. We had good time, it was very beautiful.
What a great experience! We had a great 2 nations tour with Danni as our tour guide. The boat was big and good. We got to be very close to the islands. The tour guide was funny and informative. Very recommend
I had a great experience exploring Thousand Islands. Uncle Sam Boat Tours provide very good service with amazing guide.
There's only one way to travel to Boldt castle, this is the best way. Parking here is free, if you can find a spot. Most of the time, there are a lot of tour buses in the parking lot. You DO have to pay for a ride to Boldt Castle, THEN pay to enter the castle, & boat house, seperatly.
Very good ferry. A guide talks well about the islands and their history.
The speakers went off at 3/4 of the tour
Change of wether turns the tour in a. Less pleasant experience
Double decker boats with snacks and (adult) beverages. A tour guide on the top deck. 2.5 he cruise was nice, along the 1000 islands. You can hop off at Boldt castle.
Had a great time riding in the boat looking at the beautiful scenery & houses. The guide was great and knowledgeable about the history. Prices are decent compared to others around and they have different packages depending on what you want to do. If your near the area I would recommend a visit! Very beautiful in that area!
We had a great guide and wonderful experience! For reference, our party included women in their 20's and 30's and an infant. We went on the "Two Nations Tojr. " There were people of all ages on our boat and between the water, the sights, and the knowledgeable and entertaining guide, there really is something for everyone. Highly recommend for all ages. This would make a great multi-generational trip.
Entertaining tour, was done during the off season however, can't imagine it would be as enjoyable if the boat had been full to capacity.
Very enjoyable day on the river. The narrator was very good, kept our interested and had a great sense of humor. We took the two nations tour and stopped at Boost Castle at the end of tour.
It was an amazing experience. I went with the family and they had fun. Price is responsible. One thing that we thought was there was no organization with the line. No one was guiding the people that were trying to get in line. The boat crew were very friendly.
Terrible - sold so many tickets that there were not enough seats. 2 in our party had to stand for the 2 hour tour. Unless a seat by the window, can't see anything. Wish I had saved my money and skipped this tour. Not at all worth the money or time.
Too expensive. You can drive all the way around and paid half of it at the boat house, including entry to the castle and boat house with shuttle. Uncle Sam tour does not and you will have to pay more if you want to go to the boat house. Boats are not new but not too old. Fairly clean.
Reasonable prices, clean and safe boats, and courteous and competent staff. I would definitely use them again!
Crew generally friendly and helpful, even when busy. Tours are great fun. One of the area's "must-experience" offerings is the 1000 Islands Tour and of course Boldt Castle, included in the fare.
Had taken our 3 girls (ages 3-8) for the fairy tale weekend at Boldt Castle. Was an amazing first experience
Departure from port is on time, but pickup from castle and yatch house are often ten mins before advertised times. We missed it twice, once they refused to board us as the boat was being untied:/
