Union Square Greenmarket reviews
12Great variety of fruits and vegetables, fresh and dried flowers. There is shopping nearby. Nice place.
Honestly wasn't expecting much for a Farmer's market in early January.but was I wrong, this place was GREAT! Probably at least 30+ unique farms and local produce and bakers and fun stuff.all for reasonable price and high quality merch. Some of the nicest varieties of cheese's and apples and pies and squashes and mushrooms that I have seen in some time. Don't miss it!
Green square market serves everyone’s needs whether you’re a cook or just enthusiastic about produce. Other than fresh diverse produce, there are stalls serving fresh baked goods, flowers and fruit liquor. Great place if you wish to support farmers/entrepreneurs from New York. A little pricey than regular markets but in my opinion, it’s worth the price. Special mention to halal pastures, purchase from there has never disappointed me.
New York City at its absolute best! This market is so full of life, with incredible vendors and activations that keep the people coming back. It amazes me that it happens multiple times a week, year round, but I think it’s a wonderful way for city dwellers to get their touch of local.
Love the market. Easy subway access and clean park. Great selection and variety of goods. Only negative was the skunkweed in the area, but unfortunately that's today's world.
So many awesome vendors! Check their website for which farms are there on different days of the week. My faves are Deep Mountain Maple and Two Guys from Woodbridge (greens and sprouts), but all the dozens of vendors I tried have been good. Lots of Organic, Vegan, and Gluten-free options.
Great market, lots of farms and bakeries. Some nice artists as well. Got some apples, bread, veggies and other goodies. People are kind and cheerful.
I can't get enough of this Market! You feel as though you are in a Beautiful Garden! The atmosphere is so lovely don't miss this Market it's a Gold Mine!
It is very beautiful and very traditional, reminiscent of the portable markets of Hispanics.
Came across this farmers market on the way to Washington Square Park. Was highly impressed with the different varieties of colorful produce, dairy, meat and fresh flowers! Its definitely a paradise for anyone who likes to cook and entertain! Jealous of locals for sure.
The vibes here were off it just seemed like a reseller type thing from random people set up around the area
My favorite market! Bread, apple cider, apple pie, fruits and flowers are great and fresh. Always a big delight seeing it.
