United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia NY

I went for an xray yesterday and there was no handicap parking spaces available. I walk with a cane and was going for knee xrays and it took me almost 10 minutes to reach the door. The handicap parking isn't where it should be to begin with. There is circle parking right in front of the main door that should be handicap and is not. There was a elderly gentlemen in a wheelchair that parked next to me in the middle of the regular parking that his elderly wife had to push. When I got inside I brought it to the attention to the girls at the desk and one came out and looked at what I was talking about. All the millions of dollars that are being spent seems like the handicap parking should be included in that.

No stars came in ona tue for my daughter with a broken arm took 8 hrs to been seen. Now here again with my son who crashed on his skate board and sliced his finger open to the bone been waiting 4 hrs the cut is now going to have to be ripped open to stitch it closed properly

I can't say enough nice things about EVERYONE that took care of me this past weekend. They made one of the scariest moments of my life so much less scary. I never had to wait; they responded to my every need within minutes. Definitely recommend going there if you need healthcare!

I’d like to take the time to thank the staff who worked so hard to care for my father when he was a patient there, sick with lymphoma. Unfortunately he passed away after a brief but courageous battle. I appreciate the nursing staff and Doctors for the care he received, although I wished he would have been moved to Hospice.

I have had two out patient surgeries here in the last year. Outstanding staff, clean facilities, and pre and post operative directions incredible and clear.

Our mother was a patient there two months ago. She had surgery there and was in the hospital two weeks. Her care was terrible and ended up being transferred to Unity Hospital in Rochester. Personal care and oral care was terrible. She ended up with bed sores and sores on her toes and heels from not changing her positions in bed.
My brother would go up to visit her and he was not happy on the condition of our mother while she was there. Before you decide to send your loved one to UMMC please check the reviews and send to better qualified hospital

The day shift on the 3rd floor is out standing. I was treated with so much dignity and respect. I’d like to thank Jon, Jim, the 2 Sams, Aimee, Ted, Katie, Matt, and the wonderful Dr. Lafredo. I know I had other wonder providers on the day shift as well, the night shift however needs improvement, significant improvement. (except for Jim and the one sweet cna with long blond hair).

Actually would give 0 stars. First time visit to this ER. Terrible! Dr. Matthew Steele Battaglia the most arrogant dr. I have ever encountered. Absolutely no compassion does not explain things and talked down to us. I will never go back to this place. I will also spread the word about this horrible Dr.

24 weeks pregnant and went here very sick. They were unable to IV me and stuck 15 needles in me busting all 15 veins. They misdiagnosed me telling me my symptoms were pregnancy related and is was actually covid. Horrible hospital. Never go here if you are dying

This hospital needs to be shut down. Please don't get ED care from here. All staff over worked, under paid makes for tons of medical mistakes.
