15They literally turn away business. Had a lot of packages to ship and because it was too much work for them they essentially rejected the business. Shameful.
The 1 star is only because they have a self-service kiosk.
12/10/22 incident: I usually do not need a teller, but this one instance I had a priority mail package that I wanted to officially scan through. Teller #1 sees my package has a prepaid label before I even get to the window, tells me to drop it in the self-service kiosk. I explained due to the urgency of this package if I could have it scanned in with the employee. Teller #1 ignores me and audibly tells teller #2 not to assist me.
Teller #3 becomes available and I ask if she can kindly scan my package. She directs me to the self-kiosk. Then she tells me USPS does not scan packages at the window.
I understand if these packages are letters/small packages being dropped in a self-kiosk bin. It was disrespectful for the tellers to tell one another not to assist a customer just because a prepaid label was made. Seems strange they also wouldn’t scan a package at a window. I came to the post office with a cane due to an injury. All 3 tellers watched me struggle limping toward them and then be dismissed. 0/5 for all 3 tellers.
I advise anyone to use a different USPS if able.
0 stars if I could. Despite getting to my appointment 15 minutes early, the only attendant working worked with another couple through my entire appointment. I had everything prepped prior to my appointment, however I was still there for 50 minutes. Denied my photo, which was already approved elsewhere, because my ears were not showing. Wanted to charge me an extra $15/20 to take another photo, with no flash or back drop. My eyes were black and hair about 3 shades darker. Not informed of the extra charge till checkout.
This the worst post office in the USA probably…I went here at least 10 times over the last year and not only are the employees lazy, inattentive and generally rude but they STEAL too. I dropped off an old iPhone to mail it back to ATT and guess what? The phone never made it to ATT. They should all be fired. Disgrace.
After missing a delivery from a Walmart order, I went twice to attempt pick up the package. They kept saying they didn't know where the courier placed the package and the supervisor would call me when they locate the package. The level of incompetence is astounding. If the package is lost, I was told to file a claim. Any retailer using the USPS to deliver should be ashamed of themselves. You wonder why they are failing to compete with UPS or Fed EX for delivering packages.
First time here and I did not have a good experience. I was just trying to get my passport renewed but a lady wouldn’t stop yelling at me. I told her I was told to stand by and wait for someone to assist me when she starts shouting at me and saying that was not the right thing to do. While the person who helped me with my passport wasn’t particularly rude, just a bit impatient, I am still very put off by the lady. I saw her yell at 2 other customers during my time there as well.
They refused to take my prepaid package at the window even though i was the only one in line. Told me I had to use the kiosk.the kiosk states that using it does not provide a proof of item receipt where going to the window does.even after explaining this they still refused to take my package.on top of that the online usps survey website is not working so i can not tell them how bad they are doing.
Melissa, the supervisor is absolutely unprofessional rude full of attitude individual! People like her shouldn’t be in a customer service AT ALL!
Add me to the list of correct 1 star reviews.after spending a lot of time packing up our shipments and bringing 3 people over to help carry everything the tellers rejected helping us they didn't want to hold up the line that didn't exist.they wouldn't even help us ship some of the packages.
There is literally 1 professional person working here. The others are shamefully stereotypical.
Also, there is apparently a new protocol of needing a tracking # to find a package instead of ID and a pink slip. That "new" method was thrown out the window a min later when I spoke w/ a different worker, who, lo and behold, was able to find my package w/ ID and the pink slip.
This is the worse post office, They never answer the phone, plus I changed my address they forward some of my mail and the first class mail they told me they can’t track it, then when my husband went to pick up my mail they didn’t ask for my name just when the mail was sent to my old address, they said I don’t have any mail that was around November 14,2022 the sending told me the post office send back the mail and they received it on the 17 of November, why play games when u know u had the mail all this time. If I can give a zero star I will plus they always put ppls mail in the wrong mail box get it together this is sad before ppl get there mail at 12: 30 now it’s after 5pm smh
Terrible delivery service. Had me waiting 2 weeks to deliver a simple package from Amazon. I literally live a few blocks away…. Ended up having to pick it up myself
It's a cool building that, like many post offices, could use some love to show off its glory.
Pro tip: On the left side of the door near the PO boxes, there are some cool old photos from when the post office was built in the earlier part of the 1900s.
Not a terribly busy location, and the workers tend to be more friendly than other offices.
It would be useful to have a second self-service machine, however, to reduce wait time when scanning in or mailing a package.
I was greeted by a very rude attendant at the window, Santha. Not helpful. This is why civil servants get a bad rap.
It’s amazing how 80% of reviews are negatives about that post office and nothing is done. Years I am coming here and the staff is as usual very unpleasant. But what can you do because they’re not willing to do anything. So try to avoid the staff at that post office!
