The staff at Upstate Oral Surgery are very informative in all aspect from the front desk, insurance and surgical team. They answered pre operative instructions and post operative questions with out hesitation. My daughter had the exparel and she was back to her normal self the next day with no pain after having four teeth extracted. I was reluctant to have teeth removed, as the two teeth had been in my mouth for several decades. I had watched a family member struggle with healing from wisdom teeth removal done in a different city, with a different surgeon, several years ago. Here’s what this team did to ease my trepidation:
1) There was clear concise communication with the initial appointment, evaluation and consultation…. I knew the cost in advance
2) I was treated with respect, as a key contributor in the decision making for my surgery. All of my questions were answered thoroughly. There was eye contact and active listening.
3) My companion/post op driver was in the room prior to the procedure, hearing the description of the surgical sequencing at the same time as me. He was encouraged to ask any questions or voice concerns.
4) Basically, the event moved smoothly and my recovery over the next 2 weeks was almost exactly as described to me. I was seen twice after the extractions to assure timely healing.
From the phone calls to set up appointments, to reception when entering the facility, and throughout the surgery and follow up: everyone was professional, kind, knowledgeable and caring. The crew projects happiness toward one another and the patients. If you have to get this level of dental work, get it done at Upstate Oral Surgery.

My extraction procedure was quick and painless. I had an infection in the gums where the tooth was taken out. They pushed everything back a week to take care of my infection. They are all personable, Dr. Curtis and his staff. I recommend anyone in the North Country who need a dental implant, to check them out!

The oral surgeon and the surgical team were extremely professional, and they took the time to explain the procedure and help me feel at ease. Their expertise and care were evident throughout the entire process, which helped alleviate any anxiety I had about the surgery. The facility itself was clean and modern, which added to the overall positive experience.

Leading up to surgery day, I was most apprehensive about being administered anesthesia medication via IV, but even that went well and was ultimately the right decision for me.

One of the things that impressed me the most was the zero swelling and minimal soreness I experienced post-surgery. The aftercare instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, and I truly believe they played a significant role in my smooth recovery.

Also they gave me my teeth in a sealed bag to take home afterwards which I thought was pretty cool.

I came here to start my implants. The office is very clean. Everyone I met in the office was great to deal with! They had answered all of my questions and concerns from billing to my procedure. My procedure went well and I'm extremely happy with the care I had received while I was there! I highly recommend this place for any type of oral surgery!
