I always have a good experience at my dentist's office. The staff is friendly and explains everything clearly. Dr. Patel is very skilled, and thorough. I highly recommend this neighborhood dental practice.

Uptown Dental provides personalized service. Myself, teenage son who is a sophomore in college and my boyfriend are all patients here. When my son faced a recent dental emergency that forced him to come home from school, and though they were completely booked, they managed to fit him in! As a family we are grateful for the kindness and understanding the staff and dentists all show at Uptown Dental.

Uptown dental is absolutely a hidden gem that everyone should know about. They take multiple insurance plans and the work they do is fantastic. Dr. Patal and all of the staff are professional and compassionate. Front desk ladies are great, smiling all the time and great music playing. I tell you 1 thing I have found my forever dentist and office to go get my work done on my teeth. I am so happy. And you will be too.

I have been to few dental offices and I have waited from 45 mins -2 hrs. This is the only clinic that brought me in right away and started my cleaning. I don't have dental insurance and they offered a program that you can pay monthly for very affordable price. Im so happy that they offered it over the phone when I called and started my cleaning and check up and xrays the same day.

Lovely, professional people who always do a great job. No one really like the dentist but these guys are top notch. Very friendly staff. The new management is very different now. I can’t speak highly enough about uptown dental group. Truly such a wonderful experience.

The most rushed cleaning I’ve ever experienced. My appointment was at 1pm. I arrived early and had to fill out paperwork as a new patient, but still ended up waiting 45 minutes before I was seen. The receptionists were ok. Finally, after x-rays, I was led to the dentist chair where I waited another 20 minutes. The dental hygienist spent not five minutes on my teeth! She did not introduce herself or spend a long time looking over my teeth. May be it’s my past experience at the dentist, but I’m used to the dental hygienist being significantly more thorough and careful. After waiting some more, a different hygienist came in to do the polish. The whole process was rough and messy, and she did not even touch my back molars on one side of my mouth. And that was that. No floss. No specific instructions. In all, I think I’ll be looking for a different dentist on my next appointment. The rushing and lack of attention made me feel uncomfortable, and unsure as to whether my teeth had been properly cared for.

Today I had an appointment schedule at 2: 30 PM for my son. We called to the office around 1: 20 PM to inform that we was in our way. The staff member told that they had cancelled the appointment yesterday because the doctor has had an emergency and she claimed that they had called me to inform me and they left voicemail. I told The lady that, yesterday I received a phone call to confirm my appointment for today. I asked her to please schedule an appointment for this coming Friday because my son need to have a tooth removal. She told me to go to the hospital. I requested to speak with a Supervisor and she told me that there was not supervisor at the location.

My previous experience at this location were great but I won’t coming to this dentist again.

I called this office right after walking out another dental office after they told me they would charge me a $125 copay with my insurance. The receptionist here told me not to worry and that they would not charge any copay at all. They gave me a same day appointment as well!

Staff was kind and respectful. Super professional. Dentists explained everything well and addressed a problem that it took 3 other dentists to solve.

I became a member for the first time and I had an amazing experience. I don’t understand how people cannot leave a good rating. They took care of me fast, they were very polite, and the place was very clean. Really satisfied with the service overall.

Recently, after almost two years, my upper partial broke. Unfortunately, the dentist that original had this partial made, retired. So, I had to pick a new dentist.
I choose 116th Uptown Dental because it was convenient to get to and they were in my health insurance network.
The first day I get there, I was told I couldn’t get a new partial because my insurance wouldn’t cover a new one until next. Which was fine. So, I asked them to fix this one. This is where the red flags began. This is like maybe 20 minutes into this visit… I was told by one of the front desk clerks, “” a repair for my upper partial would be $900…. My response: Absolutely no… then it went down to $600… Of course, I still said no thank you…. Then I was told by Dr. Patel, there’s a mistake, its $250. Im still not agreeing…. Dr. Patel words, “Let me call the lab and see what the price is”. She comes back and now the price is $110. From $900 it dropped to $110? I felt I was being haggled to see what I would pay. Big red flag for a doctor’s office. I wasn’t buying sneakers.
Out of desperation, I agree to the $110 because I just wanted my partial fixed. At this time, I get a lower back missing tooth molded as well for a clip-in type of tooth. Dr. Patel was trying to sell me an acrylic clip-in rather than the free metal one that t insurance would cover. The acrylic had a price tag on it…. I forget what it was but I said no…. I want the metal.
I come back in to receive both partial and clip-in…. The clip-in was not metal, it was acrylic. Dr. Patel realized the acrylic was free, so she decided on her own, lets switch to the acrylic. It would have been nice if I was in on this decision considering I am the patient. Again, another price change
Just a few weeks of having the upper partial, it broke again.
This must be the worse dentist I have ever went to. I have absolutely no trust in the dentist or the staff. I will not return.

Do not go to have your teeth treated at this address.
The receptionists are incompetent, rude, without any empathy.
They are not organized, their computers are not connected to each other, so they could not see the proof of the authorization of my insurance.
The first time I went was to fix two cavities and check the rest of my teeth, the doctor didn't see my two cavities.
A few weeks later, after having received a favorable opinion from my health insurance, to change my two crowns, I go to my appointment, there they tell me that there is only one doctor and that it is not not possible for my appointment (they could have called me before I moved)
So I make another appointment to change my two crowns and again they tell me that my insurance did not accept when I have a crimped paper that proves the opposite. This place is full of incompetents.
