UR Medicine Labs – Brighton, Rochester NY

I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I got blood drawn with little to no discomfort. I have used this office in the past and will continue to as long as they're open. THANK YOU, WAY TO GO!

The fact that URMC has ONE lab open on Sunday is unacceptable; and to think that the location is not convenient to the thousand of patients who need workups and have jobs that limit time off to get bloodwork done. I waited exactly one hour, after following the telephone checkin and never got my blood drawn! Now I have to fast again and take time off from work to get it done before my doctors appt on Wednesday. I am seriously thinking about changing doctors just so that URMC is not the only lab I can go to- I have complained before about this office to the staff and obviously NOTHING was done about it because it fell on deaf ears. Maybe your management team should rethink hours to include early mornings and later evenings, and schedule more staff at this location AND think about opening up another location, to be competitive with other labs.

Not sure what is going on with the service here. Came to get blood drawn and there were two people sitting at the desk checking me in. Turns out one was phlebotomist, not sure why two are needed to check in. Phlebotomist was checking people in and not doing blood work? 6 people infront of me andy only
One person gets called within 30 minutes.

I have only had excellent experiences here. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional, friendly and attentive.

Last time I will visit this location. Told the front desk & the tech 4 times which doctor lab order I ONLY want done that day. What do they go & do? The lab goes & run a blood test on every doctor’s order in the system. For real? And this isn’t the first time they screw up. Lead tech us less desired to talk to.

Staff was friendly and professional. There were 5 people in the waiting room when I arrived, but I was in and out very quickly.

I drive out of my way to come to this blood draw station, rather than go to the one at 800 Ayrault (dude to rude and unkind person and heavy wait times there) because the people here are friendly, helpful, kind and efficient.
