UR Medicine Labs – Henrietta, Rochester NY

Be prepared for the receptionist to ignore you while she stares blankly at a computer. Oh, and be sure you have a couple hours to wait.

This is not aimed specifically at this lab. The lack of sites during COVID is a true hardship as I live south of Rochester. Plus you have closed so many. I am sick.

After the second time here, I would not come back. Waiting room was totally full on a Monday at 11: 15 and based on my last experience it might have taken me 2 hours. I just left. Older facility as well.

Waited an hour and a half to renew a prescription. Now I'm going on two hours waiting for the doctor to show up. I saw quick all over the reviews, can confirm that it's not the case. I wish I could give zero stars.

I went around lunch time to get my blood drawn and there were only a couple people ahead of me. It took over an hour for them to call me and they only had one phlebotomist and one in training. The staff at the front desk seemed to be clueless as to what was going on and who was next in line. When I went up to ask how much longer it would be, she had trouble finding my paperwork on the desk that was scattered with everyone else’s lab requisitions. I will never return to this lab draw location. Poor service and even worse customer service.

Very friendly and kind.and quick! And I found a birthday twin who drew my blood.super nice guy! Who knew having blood drawn would be painless and cheerful.

The staff is always friendly, efficient and experienced. They always double check to make sure they have your name and date of birth correct and label everything carefully. Hardly any wait time when I have been there. (I do go later in the morning)

Staff is friendly. I had my baby do the blood here, the nurse wasn't able to draw blood due to lack of experience, and they had another experience nurse draw the blood and finally the lab work went well.so just ask for experienced lab assistants when you sign-in.

They are always a caring and professional team here. Its conveniently located and quick to get to. The wait time here is usually not too long, it's an urgent care and truly better than those unnecessary trips to the ER on the weekends or at night.
