I have contacted this department with concerns for my health. I had some questions about the process, as navigating new and worsening migraines has been confusing and scary for me. Sort of an, I don’t know what I don’t know situation. However an RN at an urgent care gave me some alarming information, which I asked for clarification on when I set the appointment date to see the neurologist here. When I called to make this appointment, I was met with a very apathetic woman who was unwilling to answer questions. It would be one thing if she simply didn’t have answers, however she presented herself with agitation and treated me harshly. She was abrupt and discompassionate, and ultimately hung up the phone while I was trying to explain my concerns. I called another time to cancel the appointment, and I was met with the same poor attitude and lack of concern. After confirming the appointment was canceled I was quickly hung up on again. She was very unprofessional, and this experience doesn’t make me feel confident in the care that I would have received there if I had decided to keep my appointment. Unnamed neurological issues can be scary, and I don’t think someone like this should be dealing with patients.
