UR Medicine Urgent Care – Henrietta, Rochester NY

Good care and service but waiting times were not accurate. I scheduled an appointment, showed up on time and still had to wait almost 30 minutes when the wait time said 8min. Would recommend just come prepared to wait

Not sure what is up with the black lady at the front desk but she has zero customer skill. No one is trying to scam a covid test. Her tone and attitude is unpleasant especially with parents dealing with sicks kids trying to find help.

Hope her management sees this but who's going to care. Health care will always make their money and we are at their mercy.

Definitely won't be taking family there ever.

Implant Dentist removed tooth. (specialist) Never gave me anything for it. Face and neck swelled and turned RED Went urgent care doctor gave me pain pills and a strong antibiotic. Feels much better Swelling went immediately down. Pain can nowTolerate Great Doctor there. He knew more than the dental specialist who just does teeth removal what to do for me Thank you urgent care!

I am not sure for the bad reviews. This place had all nice staff from the front counter check in to the providers. They were helpful and efficient. The staff took the time to listen to my symptoms even before asking what test I needed. Then, they also after my tests were done had me evaluated by the doctor just to be safe. The wait time was very short for an urgent care under the conditions we live in. I went after work so I thought I would have to wait a long time but this was not the case. I had 5 people ahead of me and only wad their an hour from the time I walked in the door till I least that’s amazing considering everything.

Should have listened to the other reviews. Attitude from the front desk, waited an hour and a half and asked for an update and the front desk said at least another hour and a half. The only helpful comment she made was to “just go somewhere else” that’s exactly what I did. Oh, when I asked how to file a complaint she gave me a phone number that is out of service.

Very ill and need care.website states 9pm you close, once I arrived at 810pm a sign on door stated temporarily closing at 8 pm. Please update website with information posted on door. I also called the day before and was told 9am to 9 pm.

2 Visits - first visit misdiagnosis and suggested treatment made it worse 2nd visit NP was dismissive and not helpful. Notes from visit inaccurate. Shouldn't have bothered going here.complete waste of my time and nothing helpful.

I Paid to have a COVID test.when I get back to the room the nurse refuse to give me a test that I paid for because I needed it for a concert and I didn’t have symptoms.

I get sent there frequently when my primary can’t see me. Unfortunately I almost always end up at the hospital anyway because they often refuse to treat me on the basis that I’m chronically ill.

So yesterday I had to go in for a covid test, because my fully immunized woman tested positive for covid a few days earlier. As a cancer patient, my NP insisted that I have one, despite having covid last November. I should happen to mention here that I remain unimmunized to this day. Anyhoooo, so this nurse that did my covid test decided to be a capital B (you know the word. It rhymes with itch) and attempt to talk down to me because I was unimmunized. I let her know that I was there because my FULLY IMMUNIZED significant other was infected. Then she says, "well, you've got covid". I told her I had it last November and have natural antibodies, to which she replied there are no natural antibodies to covid.lol, wut? Well, fast forward to me results coming in, and jokes on you, loser. NEGATIVE covid, despite being unimmunized and my woman hacking her lungs out all over the place the last 4 or 5 days now.

I went here last night for a possible Strep or COVID case and am very pleased with my experience. The facility is clean, and well marked for social distancing - there's a huge jug of hand sani for everyone to use plus face masks if you need one. Staff was friendly and compassionate which is pretty much par for the course with any trip to any URMC facility - staff is amazing. One thing I will note is that when you check in, you do have the ability to go out and wait in your car and they'll call you when it's time to come in. This is something new to me and I'd much rather wait in my car than in a crowded waiting room. So - overall.this Urgent Care is great, and they've been good to me in the past as well.

It never fails that when you travel with kids they get sick. When we are in town and have need of an ear exam or other testing, we come to this location because it is so convenient. 2 years ago the APP we saw helped my daughter super quickly and efficiently (our medicine was ready by the time we reached the pharmacy!) and yesterday we saw Dr. Livingston for my sick toddler- he and the staff were quick and courteous. They called me today to follow up on her test result - I missed the first call and they called me back later which I really appreciate. I work in this industry and recognize that they practice evidence based medicine, and would recommend this facility to anyone in need of a quick visit for an acute problem!

Like others, staff was nice. However, I was not pleased with the PA’s hands off approach to my treatment. I went in due to having a fever for a week. Since I recently moved to the area my insurance was not accepted by them. I had to pay a pretty high price for a 5 minute talk with the doctor. She said go see your PCP. I don’t have a PCP, since we just moved here. Her response was to come back in two days. I felt rushed and that what ever she thought coujmld be done in 2 days should have been done then. I want my money back as nothing but a free Covid test was done for me. The PA seemed ill equipped to do a thorough job. Now I am without the money to go elsewhere to receive treatment and my fever continues.

This urgent has been top notch care, extremely caring from front desk to nurse etc they treated me promptly as well as offered even sympathy

Went in on a Sunday night 8pm for a sports injury for a 16yr old athlete. Waiting room was clean and chairs marked for social distancing. Intake secretary was polite and efficient. Was almost immediately taken back to a room, 10 minutes later seen by NP, xrays ordered and taken within 5 minutes, results and NP back in within 10 minutes, no fracture - ankle wrapped, stabilized, sized for crutches, discharge paperwork handed off, including note for school. Copy of xrays burned onto CD for ortho and handed over as well. Was hesitant to go to this urgent care - but am extremely pleased! In and out - everyone was incredible. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

I was experiencing the worst pain of my life due to a broken/infected tooth. I couldn't afford emergency dental so went to Urgent Care. The nurse who checked me in was so kind, the nurse who checked me out was wonderful, the doctor who helped me was TERRIBLE. She did not greet me, and immediately commented, very condescendingly and judgementally, on how I am a medical marijuana user (have been for 4+ years for my anxiety since it's one of the only things that helps, I've never been confronted by a doctor like this about it). I heard her talk to other patients through the walls and she was not as cold or brusque with anyone else. I was in tears from the pain, begging for help, and this doctor had no compassion for me because I smoke weed sometimes to stop panic attacks. She also gave me no information on the medications she prescribed, I had to ask a nurse, and I later found out doctors/dentists usually prescribe something else for tooth pain, so I didn't even get the relief I needed because SHE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT ME. Do not go here if you want a compassionate doctor who actually wants to help, because if she doesn't agree with something about your lifestyle, you're screwed.

If you love your family go to another site.
There is a female doctor here who is ill-equipt to do her job. Twice we have seen her and twice we ended up in the hospital anyway. My PCP was furious because she didn't take basic vitals or send me to the ER.
There are many other urgent care centers in the area.

I went to get a COVID-19 test. I have never been treated worse by any medical professional than I was here. The staff had no information on what insurance covers and gave me multiple different costs of the COVID test. I will not be returning to this urgent care and would suggest getting a COVID test elsewhere.

I wish I would've read the reviews before I went lol! The front desk lady was really great and they took me in right away but the lady doing the covid swabs was abrupt and the others were looking at me like they couldn't understand why I was there. I don't know I wouldn't go back.
