UR Medicine Urgent Care – Pittsford, Rochester NY

I would NOT recommend this Urgent Care. Unfortunately, customer service and bedside manner practices are incredibly poor.

This is the Urgent Care our family always uses even though we live in Webster and several are closer to us. The check in staff is always friendly.
I feel like the staff takes the time to listen to me when I share my concerns and takes the time to explain ant treatment or medication needed.
When my husband fainted and cut open his forehead, they called ahead to the ER to make sure we were met with a wheel chair when we arrived because they were concerned with a head injury.

Went to this location for the 1st and last time. Zero bedside manner from nurse and doctor very rude once I asked for antibiotics says can’t prescribe them. The wait time in the room was extremely slow, doctor had no idea what could be wrong with me horrible cough, severe sore throat, had this over 3 weeks and getting worse. Says maybe strep, maybe mono, clearly no idea just can’t give me anything. So today reading his note in my chart he states patient was angry and aggressive, after this horrible experience did he think I was Happy.

My first time ever going to this place was absolutely horrible. The heavy set hispanic women was SO RUDE. Unfortunately my one year old sons insurance is non-active so they wouldn’t see him unless i paid $200 to sit in the waiting room & then the price will vary as we see the doctor which wasn’t the problem; the problem was that the lady heard how bad my sons wheezing/cough was & still turned turned us down & sent us out the door. I had to go to after hours at RGH & wait 3 1/2 hours for my son to be seen & be tested for RSV & COVID & this morning his test results came back RSV POSITIVE. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This clinic provided very lousy service. I walked in with rashes on my face, a physician assistant talked to me. She said that she could not treat me and asked me to see my PCP. A few weeks later, I received a bill in the amount of $350.00.

I highly recommend you don't go to see the urgent care.

Been here twice with my roommate because we were sick. Front desk staff is nice but the nurse is very rude. Doesn’t seem to like her job. The way she ask questions makes it seem like she could care less about how you feel or whats wrong. I’ve had her both times so I know I didn’t just catch her on a bad day…

Took my husband in five minutes before closing time with care and concern. We had been turned away at another urgent care that was at capacity. They saved us many grueling hours in an emergency room. We are so grateful! The doctor and nurse were very professional and kind.

Can’t say enough how grateful I am for the staff (Mary, especially) here. They where so kind and helpful. Quick wait times and amazing service.

I want to thank Mariah, PA and Meaghan, RN, (apologies if I have spelled that incorrectly) for their attention and care today. As someone who works in an outpatient, walk-in clinic I understand the daily challenges faced. Everyone who came into my exam room today was courteous, empathetic, and professional. This was a great experience- I went for some tests at 11: 30 am and no wait! The team was friendly professional and sensitive to my issue. I read some reviews of long wait times, I am sure that as a walk in clinic it gets busy at prime time. Being in the field of patient care myself, I would advise any person to place value on the care they are given - not wait times or processing of information.

Currently here right now, worst service for any well now or urgent care in Rochester. Terrible.

This office is so special. Today was my second visit and it did not disappoint me. The staff on Monroe Ave could not be kinder. From the receptionist, nurse, xray technician, Physician Assistant they all1 treated me with compassion. This is what I hope to find in every medical office. Thank you

Intake without issues. No need for an ID. Looked myself and my daughter up in system with just a date of birth. Did have to sign for billing and treatment. Total visit with an xray was about an hour. Nice, and professional staff. Will visit this urgent care anytime.

Never go here. They just care for the money and don't care on helping you. Last time I went there the gave me wrong diagnose and gave wrong medicine. Thankfully I decided to go to A REAL DOCTOR, and they were able to figure out real issue and help me healed.

Its a great care that provided to me at this urgent care from receptionist, who check me in to the nurse, who did the vitals and questions to amazing Nadia, PA, who was thoughtful and compassionate.
I can not ask for better treatment in this facility. Thank you very for wonderful job that you do.

Go in because of a throat infection, they couldn't identify what the specific infection was, then tested for strep, then for mono and then said I may have Omicron or Covid. Tonsillitis ever heard of it!? After refusing PCR Test they told me to quarantine for 10 days!? !? ! They prescribed me anti-biotics so they obviously knew it was an infection. People have completely lost it now a days. Name a single virus ever you needed to get tested for? These people should not be allowed a position in the medical field when they cant even identify a simple infection. Couldn't be more angry at this society because people will say i'm the issue, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE IGNORANT BEHAVIOR
