US Budokai Karate Association reviews
12I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the US Budokai family. The training is phenomenal and everyone is so supportive of each other. The absolute best!
The O’Dell Family has been richly blessed by being a part of the US Budokai Karate Family. Over the almost 30 years that we’ve been members of US Budokai Karate, our daughter has obtained significant leadership skills that enabled her to be a scholar athlete, and as parents we continue to gain knowledge, confidence and physical and emotional centeredness through our studying traditional karate, sword and weapons. It is truly a family-focused environment and community, one that is concerned about all aspects of your growth. We are so happy and proud to be members of the US Budokai Karate organization. OSU! Shihan-Dai Crickett, Dennis and Bre O’Dell.
Started here as a student a few months ago at the age of 53. A great place for an older student to start. Could not be happier
US Budokai is another part of our family that helps us to plant positive and healthy values in to our kids. We are part of US Budokai family for more than 5 years and we are more than grateful for all things that we all learned.
I'm happy with my decision to become part of the U. S. Budokai family for many reasons (I had a review where I focused on Zoom classes during Covid, but I want to amend that review now to reflect my experience in 2023). 1st, I enjoy learning as a student in classes that are available frequently enough to make class attendance work no matter what changes occur to my schedule. This enhances the value of my membership because I can personalize my training as needed to suit my learning goals, be it mastering basics or giving back by assisting with classes. 2nd, this is a great place for families to come together and improve their health, happiness, and fitness. My kid is old enough now that I have enrolled my kid in the Tiny Tigers program. We're one of many families who have this long term relationship with US Budokai Karate. As a final point, whether you're looking here for you or a family member or friend, the warmth and consistent high-quality instruction we offer from tiny tigers through our adult and golden lion classes means that you will feel respected and valued here. This is a great school, all are welcome, and we'd love for you to start or continue your martial arts journey with us.
Amazing karate school with amazing staff. Myself and my children all take class. There is not enough time or space for me to say how great our experience is here.
As a senior citizen I highly recommend Budokai Karate. I started at 70 years old after open heart surgery and 4 years later I'm still at it.why you might ask at my age. The benefits for me are much more flexibility, better balance, strength, purpose, goals and actually confidence. The same can be true for you as well.give it a try.
I have been a student of US Budokai Karate for many years. During that time my two sons and three of my grandchildren have also trained here. Karate has been a very important part of our Family. The picture shows myself with one of my sons and three of my grandchildren.
The instructors are wonderful and personable. It’s amazing how they know everyone’s name. They know how to teach them and correct them in a very professional manner on their level Our granddaughter is very excited when she knows she is going.
There is something very special about US Budokai Karate. I'm not sure I've ever experienced such a genuinely supportive community before.
I signed my children up 3 years ago because I wanted them to gain self confidence and learn discipline, but we have gained far more than I expected.
Kyoshi Sue and Sensei Michael are excellent teachers who know every kid by name and all of their strengths and weaknesses. While they hold the kids to a high standard, they know how to encourage them in a way that helps them to grow instead of getting discouraged. It's not easy to teach young children disciplined skills, but they are pros.
Recently, I joined as well (something I was not planning), and I was struck with how quickly the assistant instructors introduced themselves and offered assistance. I was able to learn more quickly than I expected, and I credit a lot of that to the encouragement and lessons I received from my instructors and fellow students.
It's clear that US Budokai Karate has a strong foundation based on the principles of integrity and respect and that their message has been carried through from the highest ranked instructors all the way down to the youngest white belt.
From day one I have been challenged, encouraged, and tested to leave my comfort zone and rise to the next level. Greatest instructors and karate family! I challenge you to join the Budokai community on a quest to be our best! You’ll never regret your decision!
