Have made 2 trips to try to get a copy of my SS card and they were closed both for times when they were supposed to be open

I don't get all the bad reviews. I called to make an appointment and it rang 3 times. A lady answered and was very helpful. Made the appointment plus she answered all my questions. Went to appointment and waited maybe 15 min. The whole process took maybe 20 min. Was back home in less than an hour. Great service if you ask me.

The people who work here take joy in making you wait and will deny your application even when you have all of your paperwork and documentation in order and in hand due to whatever technicality they can come up with.

I am very pleased with my visit to sign up for social security. I had called for an appointment in June, only was on hold for about 5 minutes and then got scheduled for an appointment about a month later that suited my schedule.

Check in was easy and I only waited about five minutes before I was called. The gentlemen that I talked to was very cordial, professional and knowledgeable. He set me up with everything I required, answered my questions and provided me with his direct phone number in case I needed further information or to make changes.

Sitting for an hour so far, 1 person calling people back to window 1, no one else seems to be working in this fine government establishment. This place is a train wreck

Never felt more violated in my life. Wanting a simple form from SS, I entered the office and was greeted by an officer that treated me more as a criminal than a customer. After "signing in", I waited for 30+ minutes and then with NO regard for my privacy, I asked for a simple federal tax withholding form but was given my tax statement. After three attempts to clarify what I needed, I was again treated disrespectfully and was told how much I was withholding, which was incorrect and the agent even felt it was his job to fill it out the form for me, even after I told him I was taking it to my tax accountant.
The most alarming aspect of this visit was the total disregard for my privacy and all the other customers who were doing business in the office. I heard the conversations of three other people plus 8 people that were forced to hear my business. Everyone has a right to privacy!

If i could pick 0 stars I would! Have called every day for over a week. No answer, just keeps ringing forever. Have been calling for the past 20 minutes straight and still nothing. Been waiting over a year for an update on an appeal and all they give me when i go there (because they dont answer the phone) is "we don't know you have to keep waiting ". Really need some new staff or something. Completely unhappy.

It os a goverment facility, the do not care, it takes act of god to have them lose their job.all these complaints will not help.if you owe them money bet your butt they will be after you also without sweet services.

Jesus Christ the lady who helped us was so incompetent and RUDE! Be ready for nasty attitudes if you go here!

Call after call.busy or no answer. Trying to make an appt. What do I have to do, drive there and make an appt in person? ! This is utterly ridiculous!

I've called 3 times this week to change my appointment and nobody has called me back. I keep calling, but get no answer. I am very frustrated.

Everytime I call the number it rings and is not answered. No answering service either. I have to go into the office to handle any business. Very frustrating.

It's lazy to closed at 12pm in the middle of the week when it's not a holiday.the phones are alway hour to hours wait. Online is a joke

No one ever picks up the phone. Have been in the office 4 times last month and they still haven't done their jobs to correct it
