Bakery Utica Bread reviews
6This place is a gem! Their croissants are AMAZING and the bread is delicious! Whenever I'm around the train station, I stop by for a croissant or two for my breakfast with a cup of coffee. My favorite is a prosciutto Parm croissant!
Woman, who I assume is the owner, was absolutely delightful. As was the food.
Had one of their baguettes at a restaurant called the “Tailor and the Cook” in Utica.
The meal was excellent (as usual) but the baguette was the best single
Ingredient.
Best baguette west of
Paris. We’ll try them tomorrow at 8.
Stopped in for the 1st time ever! The folks there were so welcoming & nice. Even the other customers were super friendly. They have this veggie spread which reminds me of lutenitsia that is so yum! Picked up one of their Easter breads. Super excited to show up to tomorrow's holiday dinner with it:)
Stopped by on a road trip, everything was delicious
Only like 10 min from 90
Utica Bread has moved a few blocks down into the old Smith Market, which WAS a cool gourmet and health food store with an amazing amount of space to sit to enjoy the rustic "turn of the century" architecture of old brick walls, large wood beams emanating the artsy rustic warehouse experience. It was a really great place to experience an art exhibit, or a gathering of local vendors exhibiting their goods.
Ok, so I'm disappointed that they now took up most of that space with their bakery kitchen, and left a little area to sit if you grabbed a croissant and coffee for a quick bite.
Oh well. That being said, Utica Bread has a great selection of fresh baked breads, cookies, and of course, the focaccias - which are super yum.
In addition, it would be awesome if they used organic ingredients in their baked goods as their website used to state a few years back.
One more thing on the wishlist - expand the hours a bit more and the days that they are open.
