Valbrook Diner, Valley Stream NY

Have been coming here for years for breakfast. Always a pleasure being served by Sunny with her cheerful greetings and service.

Came here for lunch. They have pretty much everything. Had a burger here it was good. The French fries was real good. The only thing is we had tea. If you want a refill we'll that will cost extra. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars.

Went with my family for brunch. The waitress took notes but I wonder what she did with them because she brought everything wrong. She wasn’t attentive and when we needed to order something else we just couldn’t find her. We had a bad experience and won’t go back.

Stopped in here the other day. I had the chicken caesar wrap. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly too.

It was my birthday and several family members got together at the Valbrook Diner for lunch. We were a party of 14 adults and kids, and each one of us were treated well. The service and food were amazing. Special preparation requests were honored without a problem. It was the first time any of us ate at the diner, and we will definitely be back. The photo is a pastry brought to me in recognition of my birthday. It was a great experience for all!

I DIDN'T CARE FOR THE DINNER I HAD I HAD OPEN HOT ROAST BEEF SANDWICH MISSING SOMETHING THE GRAVY WASN'T VERY GOOD

We in our lifetime far & few between just feel like home. We have stopped in @ Valbrook more than once.and it reminded me "NO PLACE LIKE HOME". The Food, Staff and support staff step up to the 5 Stars. We ventured from Stuff Sole, Pannini, slaw, hamburger & Eggs Benedict.so much food with the quality many my age still remember. Double ham, Double Sole.a Pannini that could have satisfied all three of my brothers. Then it comes with the 5 star staff.its a pleasure to go to dinner again.

We have been going to the Valbrook for years, wanted to write a letter or send an e-mail instead of write a review, however this was the most available option. Three stars because we used to love it. This visit wasn't even a one. There was no beauty in the meal or the server.

We were there Friday afternoon 9/24/21, sat near the window, up front, our waitress (server) was rude, she threw our plate of condiments on the table in such a rush, we both looked her way, then she was gone. No apology or even glance our way. We were shocked! Was she angry or she just didn't like the way we looked! We both ordered breakfast. My Spinach and Feta cheese egg-white Omelet was awful, not at all as I remembered from the past when the food was a delight! New chef? The hash brows were mashed potatoes, burnt on both sides. Terrible meal. My husband faired no better, though he had a different entre. Asked for toast without butter, got toast with butter. The waitress when she finally came over near the end of the meal, brought toast without butter. An older gentleman came over, he was nice, friendly and what a server should be, but he didn't belong to us. Needless-to-say, it'll be awhile before we return. We tipped, but not accordingly. SHE actually shouldn't have been tipped at all.

Diner looks contemporary with the recent renovations. Staff was friendly and food, in this occasion breakfast, was very good! Highly recommend a visit if you're a local or passing by Valley Stream!

Eat here all the time. Great staff and great food. On my way there now for breakfast with my daughter.

Today Was My First Time Ever In There, Great Service, Great Food, The Owner Is Awesome Staff Is Excellent, My Food Was Amazing There, I Wud Def Recommend This Diner & I Wud Def Come Bak Again… Ty For Ya Great Service

Only go there for breakfast, it is clean, organized, food is good but not over the top. Obviously if you want fine dining, this will not be your place. If you are looking for the diner experience, you found it! Expect large portions, especially for items on the regular menu, they are good for two ppl. The chicken wings were good!

Great food, great portions. Not friendly staff don’t get me wrong some are friendly but the waitress i had was a complete bit*ch. I would visit again but if she was ever my waitress i’m out.
