Valcour Brewing Company reviews
15Very good meals! Forewarned by our server that meals could take longer than usual however he was very attentive throughout our dining experience.
Met friends for dinner here tonight. Great food and craft beer. Well worth the drive from Saranac Lake.
The food was good, the location is under staffed for a weekend rush. Several beers are out of stock. Several menu items are out of stock. Pictures are the pretzels, the raging Cajun burger and the house salad with salmon.
An old air-force base converted into a brewery. Loved the look of the building even have rooms for rent (I wish I had known) A great selection of beers food was tasty and wholesome. Sat in the porch on the rocking chairs and enjoyed the sun. Friendly and informative staff.
Great historic place with good service, food and beer! We stayed over night as the 1st Harvest Host guests Valcour has had and it was great! Ower's are retired vets, thx for your service!
I'm betting our RV, the Earthroamer, will be a tough act to follow!
Really cool place in an old Air Force building. Good beer and good food too. And for a bonus, bartenders who sing along with 80s music.
The beer here was amazing, definitely worth the drive! We made a new friend while at the bar, which was super exciting, we always meet the best people out in this region. Most importantly, the event planner Bill, is who made this new friendship possible and he was the FUNNIEST man I have met in a long time. We will be back in August!
Great brewery. Great history on building. Well done since it was an abdonded haunted structure! Food and beer both good! The old stone barracks! If your in Plattsburgh you owe it to stop in
Truly a wonderful place to have dinner and stay in one of their great rooms! Food is superb, right along with their staff!
Great atmosphere, super friendly, excellent beer, awesome food! We had the wings, flatbread, and Mac and cheese. Their beer was so great! And we were there for BOGO! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, Delicious appetizers, only one waitress on and she did a remarkable job keeping up!
Experience was ruined by the waiter wearing a Valcour branded Blue Lives Matter shirt. Sandwich was undercooked and poutine was good but it’s not worth giving your money to a business that has that message branded on the waiters shirts.
Hadn't been in a few years, my fiancee and I decided to stop in for lunch. It was his first time going, and he was blown away. We started with a couple beers and a poutine with chicken for an appetizer. It came with real cheese curds and roasted chicken, not frozen/breaded like everywhere else. My fiancee said it's the best poutine he's ever had. We each got a burger, the Valcour for me, and the Wilbur (i think that was the name!) for him. Delicious, we each had to take leftovers home. Definitely a new favorite spot.
Was at the "Keefe" wedding had an amazing time. Great beer, great food and great atmosphere.
Great food and atmosphere along with friendly staff in a historic building. What's not to like.
