Valley Rock Mountain Market reviews
7The food and atmosphere was great. I got a Cuban sandwich which was amazing. The employees were also all super friendly. It’s also really clean inside and there’s a lot of seating both inside and out. And in the winter they make a fire-pit outside which I personally loved the smell of. However, the food and drinks were a bit pricey, not to mention the produce. There weren’t price tags on the produce which was a little inconvenient. I don’t think an average local could see themselves doing their weekly grocery shopping here. But, it’s a nice place to go to if you want a treat every once in a while or one organic pomegranate.
Very hip/upscale market and great takeaways and deli.
— ProTip: ask for “The Conrad Special” from the deli, it’s not always on there, but it’s avocado, chicken and prosciutto on sourdough. They crisp-up the prosciutto like a fine bacon.
A very special place. Fantastic healthy food, comfortable cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Love it!
This place is something special. Healthy fresh food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, great local market, and even their bathroom looks like a work of art. Love this place.
A bit of a gentrified tourist trap i think. Place gives the illusion of being able to make fresh food upon order because it looks like a nice deli kitchen, but only premade sandwiches etc.which was pretty disappointing. We tried the “street” tacos when they had a food cart outside once and it just wasn’t so good. Single corn tortilla that completely fell apart, “fishy” tasting fish (you know what i mean!). Place would be much better if it was a real deli that served actual locals.
Zero handicap access. Another way for the rich elites to keep out the poor and weak.
The place is very clean and the young kids who work there are very sweet. The chicken salad with basil is absolutely amazing as is the coleslaw with the cilantro and lime
The three star is because a cheese quesadilla was given with zero condiments.it really should come with a small amount of salsa and perhaps a smidge of sour cream.also, it's kind of strange to go to a deli counter and not be able to order a sandwich; I could see the delicious chicken cutlet but there was no way for the staff to Make it into a lunch plate or sandwich.we ordered and ate out of little cups, that was a bit odd.a little bit of sticker shock when we grabbed a container of the specialty ice cream from the City, $11 for less than a pint was a bit pricey, considering you can buy that ice cream for about $8 elsewhere; I do get that places have to make money though.
