Valu Home Centers, Tonawanda NY

A great store to get all your home needs. Large enough to carry everything a homeowner needs but small enough to have that personal touch.

Spent a few hours looking for a plastic cabinet for storing paint and other project tools and found a couple over priced and thought we'd take a look at Valu. Walked in and found exactly what I was looking for just inside the entrance doors.

Great neighborhood hardware store. Beats going to Home Depot or Lowe's, especially when you need to ask for service. Prices might be a little higher on some items, but there weekly sales ad always has great bargains.

I went in for a $20 trash can, and it was on sale for $9.98! So I was able to get a rake too! Still spent less than $20. Employees were helpful and friendly

Walked in to find a couple items. I knew what I was looking for don't was easy to find but I do have to say that the location in North Tonawanda on Nash is better in terms of helpful and friendly associates.

Usually have what I need. May not have larger construction or remodeling items. Great customer service, staff is always helpful.

This is my favorite place to go. Not only do you get excellent customer service but great prices on so many miscellaneous items.

Good selection of what I was looking for. Not necessarily the cheapest, but a fair tradeoff for the convenience.

Friendly helpful associates. Good selection of glue, which was what I was looking for today. Competitive prices. Store was clean and we'll stocked.

Helpful employees that took you to where the item was instead of pointing.
Items somewhat higher (paint brushes, batteries) in price.
Guess that's the trade-off and convenience of not going to larger store.

Price is little more than large depot but it is more convenient for people to grab and go and also you can find the things more faster. But it won’t carry all items you can find in other depot

Dont know what I would do without this store. Being a homeowner, they helped me on countless projects.

Not a big box DIY store but the best thing around for quick repairs. Good paint selection, and all the common parts that often need repairs. Need a couple of screws they have a good screw department, broke your hose repair it. Need a paint brush for a small project, perfect. No they do not carry as much as the big box stores but the employees are knowledgeable and available. You won't spend an hour looking for what you need because someone will help you find what you are looking for long before that.

Their customer service is exceptionally knowledgeable! They offered recommendations on paint selections and mixed a gallon of the desired color choice. They are very polite, respectful and patient while helping out. Great store, a pleasure to shop there!

Lots of stuff you'll need for home and work. And really good prices. Definitely include this stop if you're doing any home repairs or home decor. As well as anything you may need to take care of your lawn. You may be surprised to see what they have and at what prices.
