Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Wappingers Falls NY

Used to go to Foam & Wash for oil changes, so I've been going here and there, since they stopped doing them. Saw some bad reviews, but decided to try the Wappingers location, near Buffalo Wild Wing. Went at noon for oil change and lunch. I was really surprised to see a familiar face from Foam & Wash working there. No upsale pressure, but suggestions on the invoice. This may be because I didn’t stay on site. After lunch, the car was waiting for me. No appointment necessary. I'll be back!

This review is for Warren - he went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. If Warren was not here, I would have left upset, without an oil change, and would have waited close to an hour for nothing. Shout out to him for turning a bad experience into a good one!

My wife went to get wiper blades for her car and to get them installed for her at around 8: 30. She came back without anything done to the car. Apparently, according to this location’s ‘manager’, in order to get wipers installed you have to pay to get an oil change too, even though my wife’s car did not need one and just got one the other week. Only giving it two stars because of the other employees who supposedly tried to help her out and they were shouted at for it. Never coming back here as that is completely insane!

Went to the one in Fishkill. They sent me to Wappingers. Sat for 45 minutes and watched a vehicle that had arrived after me pull in before me. Will get the oil change somewhere else

So I stopped by yesterday for an inspection. Wish I had looked at the reviews to find out you need an appointment. NO WHERE ON THE SITE DOES IT MENTION A NEED FOR AN INSPECTION APPOINTMENT HOWEVER A YEARS WORTH OF NEGATIVE REVIEW RESPONSES EXPLAINS YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT AND HOW SORRY THEY WERE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. I wasted my time and got an appointment at FIRESTONE AUTOMOTIVE immediately but would have had to wait 13 days for an appointment to get a inspection at this location. If I had known ahead I would nit have wasted my time.

Change your website and mention you NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR A AUTOMOTIVE INSPECTION.

In and out real fast. They didn’t try to over sell anything. They just explain things and gave options. They even explained each option. Yup! I highly recommend

I went to the Wappinger/Fishkill location first for a NYS inspection, figured I would get an oil change while I was there, although I usually change my own oil, because I know they make ZERO from doing inspections and figured that it might increase my chances of just getting the inspection done. I was refused; and was told that you now have to make an appointment for an inspection. But they were more than happy to do an oil change ($95) for me. I said no thanks, and left. I tried the Wappinger/Poughkeepsie location next, and was told the same thing. The place was not busy. I get it, inspections are not profitable, but oil changes are, which is why I tried to combine the two. No luck. If I have to make an appointment, I might as well stick with my local mechanic.

I never got a chance to do a review but, this place ruined my car that I had when I went. I went in for an oil change one day and I had a plug specially made for my car because of prior issues. After I got my oil change and I went home after spending a good amount of money, I realized they took out the plug I had for my car and replaced it with something else and my car was leaking oil. I had to go to my mechanic to get this issue fixed because nobody felt the need to ask me anything about my car. I had to get the plug replaced and I had my mechanic do my oil change. Never again will I come here. This was the worst experience ever. Everyone was nice but the didn't ask me any questions or anything about the car. They just did what they thought was right.

Horrible service from the manager Nick (refused last name). Try’s to adds extra services (whether I need them or not) for commission.literally every time I go and he services me. If the women aren’t there do not let anyone look at your vehicle!

Technician couldn't do oil change because the previous Valvoline tech overtightened the bolt and snapped the plug loose on the inside. Repairs costing me in excess of $400 at my mechanic. Never using your services again.

Bad customer service. Lady was particularly rude and staff was very slow to take care of us. Took 1 1/2 hours for 10 minute oil change. Empty bay in front of us when we arrived.

Went in for an oil change on my truck and was out in 20 minutes. Also used on line coupon and got $25 off. Friendly good price and fast.win win win. Like Terminator I'll be back!

I want to this place to have a oil change and rotate my tires the guy told me my lug notch was swollen L O LI went home and rotated my tires myself these people don’t wanna work laugh out loud very sad And when I called them back yet hung up on me what the business is never see me again

Quick service. Not terribly busy today. The crew took good care of my car. I'll continue to use the local Valvoline shops.

I can't really rate the service because I wasn't able to get in. I called in the morning to see if I could get an inspection and was told someone could do it anytime and that it was on a first come first serve basis. When I got there I was told it was by appointment only and that they were booked for a week. Apparently when you call you speak to someone at a call center who has no idea what they're talking about. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but I was trying to arrange this for my daughter who was traveling out of her way for this. Frustrating.

Fast, in and out in about 15 minutes. Had an oil change, state inspection, and wiper blades changed.

Went to get car inspection.there was no customers there and would not take me because of no appointment. There were 5-6 mechanics standing around doing nothing.some business practice valvoline.
