Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Wappingers Falls NY

In and out for oil change; schedule an appt for inspections. Unlike other local inspection places, this one actually honors their appt times. State inspection took under 30 minutes from when I pulled into the parking lot

Just wanted to say thank you to the folks over at the Wappingers Falls Valvoline instant oil change location. Everyone was helpful and polite. I have gone to many Valvoline Instant Oil Change stores and never experienced a situation where I noticed the Oil put in my car was not as clean as the previous changes done. I went in the store and showed the mechanics and they initially noticed that the Oil put in my car was darker then usual, but after more review between them and I, they said that oil put in my car is "clean". Per my experience in cars and and various other Valvoline store's, I knew this Oil Change was subpar (and dirty), and this is mainly due to them using an OVERUSED DIRTY jug instead of the oil hose (as other Valvoline use) for dispensing Oil. Even so, after initially putting in new oil, my oil stick was never shown to me with clean oil on it (as all other Valvoline's do) which actually made me check my oil in the first place. I know there is sludge in the car that makes oil dirty, but with an oil change, oil filter change, and being my car is a well taken care 2016 Honda, that is no excuse for how much more darker the yellow colored oil was, that I was able to find AFTER the oil change. Dirty oil can seriously affect the car and I suggest this store to take serious when dispensing clean oil into the car as other Valvoline's do. I find Valvoline stores very helpful when needing an oil change when you don't have time, but this time I wish I could have done it myself so that I know the Oil I put in from AutoZone was at its best condition when dispensing in my car. Customer experience good, they were respectful and good personnel, but operationally, the store can do better.

Alot of these places get a bad rap- but these folks were very kind and very thorough. Characters with care! It's worth the trip AND the price. We won't be going anywhere else.

Super easy. Pull in. Got the oil changed and new air filter and was out in under 30 minutes and never had to leave my car. Would recommend and will be back again.

Been going to valvoline over 20 years, by far worst experience I've had with manager and staff at Fishkill.

Made appt for nys inspection. In middle of process, told their machine not working and I have to wait a week and come back. They even charged me for the inspection they never completed. Said this was their fault. I asked for another appt, manager keeps refusing and just says come back in a week.

Wait 2 days then call. Told manager fell down steps and is out. Machines fixed but only he can do inspections.

Wait 2 more days and call. Manager speaks with me, i say i can come in after work, but he says me coming in after work by 530 for inspection is cutting it too close. He'll be in Thurs Fri Sat. Fine, I say I'll come Fri.

Come Friday, managers out! Staff gets him on phone, all refuse to refund me for a service never technically completed, and after venting about horrible customer service, I'm the one who has to lead manager in making another apt to get this done. Leave frustrated

Call customer service, they refuse to refund me and can only contact area manager (waiting for contact).

1) valvoline says inspections 7 days a week. That is a lie. They don't put appts in computer, and didn't even have a formal book. I even saw them dismiss a guy who just showed up without an apt for inspection.

2) If only the manager can perform inspection and he calls out.do they call the other people that have appointments? Nope

3) Not 1 time did manager try to fix this other than just saying for me to " come back". Wouldn't make another appt until I had to complain the 2nd time I showed up to get this done.

Shady practices, no formal customer service plan. Refuse to return. Contacted better business bureau on them.

As a woman, this is the place to go for trustworthy service according to need & not price. The staff was super friendly, fast & professional. They went above & beyond the call of duty & I was in & out within 20-25 minutes max. Kudos to: Jen, Aaron, Joe "Burger", Joe, Chris & Christian, I look forward to seeing you ALL again real soon.

I have went to this valvoline many times. I recently went and the service was exceptional. Sadly, they had an issue with their air machine and the employees and manager, he had a beard (I don't remember his name) were so kind and accommodating to this issue when it was no fault of their own. They gave me better oil and apologized for the inconvenience. I will be returning again.

The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was in and out in no time. Such a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Legit 15 minute oil change. Same people working when I return and between locations. I trust these 2 shops on Route 9. When Subaru tells me 2 weeks I go right next door. Thank you for reliable great service.

I went to the Wappinger/Fishkill location first for a NYS inspection, as usual, and figured I would get an oil change while I was there although I usually change my own oil, because I know they make ZERO from doing inspections and figured that it might increase my chances of just getting the inspection done. I was refused; and was told that you now have to make an appointment for an inspection. The place was dead, but the manager said her scanner was broken, even if she could do an inspection. But they were more than happy to do an oil change ($95) for me. I said no thanks, and left. Manager was courteous, but I was very disappointed. Inspections aside, I really have no good reason to use Valvoline anymore.
