18The female (Caucasian) sales professional came across as racist. She failed to acknowledge my presence when I walked into the location and didn’t bother to assist me. The gentleman that assisted was very friendly and helpful. Won’t ever be returning to this location however.
I will never shop at another VCA store ever again! My husband and I have a collection of pieces from various locations in Paris and London. On a whim, we decided to walk in to check out this location during one of our visits to NYC last year. From that moment on, Yuliya has been the most amazing SA we could ever ask for! We've gotten 4 wonderful pieces from her the last year and a half. Even though we live in Florida, I will only purchase with Yuliya and have it shipped to our house. With every visit to NYC, we always make time to see her. You will not be disappointed with the service. Thanks for everything as always!: D
It’s a shame that the service was so lacking at this store for such a beautiful brand. Will look to make my purchase at another store.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! NEVER! All the staff are rude! I bought a necklace, but the service was terrible! I saw other customers! They received the necklace case but I didn’t received any case! So I went back to the store again! I asked where my case is! They said The case is not coming out now!
I paid over 3,000 dollars, but can I be ignored like this? I told me that they don’t have case only very very small pouch. One of agent said they give the pouch instead of case and the other said he is going to send it to my house. So, I said I wanted to return it, and then they are going to check up. After that, they gave me the case, but get the pouch back. All agents lied to me not to give me the case. This store is just garbage. Also, I wanted to get the business card of the man who took care of me, he didn’t give it to me. I think he is afraid of that I know his name. Please please do not go there.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. If anything, trust all other reviewers. The Chinese associate here is beyond rude. She scans you up and down and ignores you. When we try to ask questions again, she barely answers you in a very condescending tone. Guess our summer outfit wasn’t up to her standard? No idea why van cleef hires such person. Do they not train their staff? Never had such experience in any other van cleefs around the world. I live one block away at HY but will never come to this location. Avoid this place like a plague.
Before, I bought from this place. Today, on call, when I tried to make an appointment, they asked what kind of necklace or bracelet I wanted. But then told me they didn’t have time for me.
Marissa the SA that assisted me was wonderful. Had a wonderful experience just going in to resize my bracelet at the store. Will definitely be back to purchase the other items I have my eye on.
Kerry is the best SA in VCA, according to dealing with others in both Hudson Yards and 5th Ave Stores.
I also agree with others that the customer service is lacking at Hudson Yards. I attempted to purchase an item at Hudson Yards-the appointment system was down, no one answered the phone or returned my call and the door person would not accommodate anyone without an appointment, even when I explained the contact issues and the time sensitivity of the purchase. Since I needed the item ASAP, I called the Fifth Avenue store-was immediately assisted, given an appt to come in within the hour. Despite the fact that the Hudson Yards location is 1 block from my home, I am very glad I ended up at Fifth Avenue. My appointment was un-rushed, I was treated to champagne and cake (!) and the experience made purchasing this gift, very special. I don't think I would have had the same wonderful experience at Hudson Yards. I recommend future buyers make the trip to Fifth Avenue-you'll be glad you did.
I live in a state without a physical VCA boutique, and the earrings I was looking to purchase were not available online. I called to the 5th ave store first and left a voicemail since no one was available at that time (they actually returned my call within 30 mins and texted me with details and follow up, super helpful. The SA there was Jonathan). I then decided to try my luck with the Hudson yards store. Ms Guo was the SA that answered and able to help me locate my item promptly. Everything was done over the phone, text and e-mail. It was such a pleasant experience. She was very efficient and helpful. I received my purchase shipped to me exactly when she said it would. It was gift wrapped perfectly. I hope to work with her again in the future and possibly also with the other SA at 5th ave.
Can’t get enough! Always love Tiffany and VCA. The earring and bracelets are something definitely need to get here! Nice service! Bought in store and shipped to Jersey, saving 2% on tax which is very nice
I normally don’t write reviews for any stores, good or bad. But I just had to share this. I went with a friend that day and when we first walked in the store the lady at the front asked me if we had an appointment. I said no, then she told me that all the sales associates were busy with other clients and that we could browse. I didn’t browse bc I knew what I wanted to purchase already. After a long while me and friend started to wonder why nobody was assisting us even though there were only 2 other clients in the store and sales associates just walking around. It felt very tense and unwelcoming. It was very clear at that point that they didn’t want to assist me. Eventually some lady tells me that nobody is available and she’ll give me a call to come back when someone is available. I called the store after I left to see if there was anyone available bc I felt like she was lying straight to my face, but I just hung up bc I realized I just gave her my number. A little while after she calls me back to let me know someone’s available, so we go back. After we get back, I tell the sales associate what I want and she gets it. While we were making the purchase the employees were literally staring at us while snickering and laughing. It was obvious that bc of the way we looked they thought we wouldn’t be able to make the purchase. I’ve never felt this uncomfortable shopping at an upscale store. Never going back to that location again.
Whoever picked up the phone on 12/22/2022 at 4: 04pm at the Van Cleef location in Hudson Yards should never be allowed to pick up another call. I called this location asking if they have any Sweet Alhambra pendant available and told it was not. Before i can even ask another question the sales person hung up on me. So i called back 5 mins later hoping it was another sales person that could be more helpful. The same lady picked up and i asked if they have any Sweet Alhambra bracelet available, the sales lady yelled at me " you just called, i told you we don't have any available and theres noting available throughout United States"
Why is this sales lady working in sales if she can not take 2 mins of her time to hear a customer out, The Sweet Alhambra collection maybe sold out in both pendants and bracelets but if she took the time and attended to my questions i may end up stopping by the store and purchasing something that was available as my fiancée loves the Van Cleef Collection and Christmas was right around the corner.
Disappointed in customer service and i hope she does not represent broad image of Van Cleef.
I had an absolutely lovely experience working with the team at Hudson Yards to exchange a bracelet I had been gifted with something I liked better. Kerry was so professional and helpful when I made and attended my first appointment. I got to work with Martina when I came to pick it up and she was also kind, fantastic, and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to working with them again in 2023!
Do not shop here! Beware! The worst customer service ever I’ve experienced at an “luxury” jewelry store. Security was not the friendliest. Nobody greeted me and my husband, we felt extremely unwelcome. We were told to walk all the way to the back, walked around little until they asked us what we were here for. The two ladies who I spoke to was very rude and not helpful. I walked out upset without a purchase and didn’t bother looking at their merchandise anymore. After we left we drove to Short Hills Mall instead and bought a beautiful piece there with Fatou, she changed my experience around. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She brought us what I wanted to see and even other options that I might like and even had a long blown conversation with us. Please step your game up Hudson Yards, such a beautiful store but your staff are so inexperienced. I would not recommend anyone to come and shop here if you’re looking to buy jewelry here. I would highly recommend for you to take a trip out to VCA Short Hills instead.
