I worked with Birdie and Rose on a custom piece which held a highly sentimental value using gemstones which belonged to my son to have a ring made to represent a significant milestone in my life and something I’ve worked my entire adult life to achieve. Working with them from beginning to end was an amazing experience and they shared my excitement about this piece and it was as important to them as it was to me which made the outcome perfect. They gave authentic and attentive care to me during the process making sure I was happy each step of the way. Ruth Ann was instrumental in helping me design, a custom-made gold band with family diamonds. She spent hours working with me, finding the right band, determining how the stones should be set. When the ring arrived I went to pick it up with butterflies in my stomach. From the first moment, I saw it I got tears in my eyes, it was absolutely perfect. The stones were set perfectly and the center stone bezel enhance the entire look of the ring. This will be passed down as a family heirloom for many generations to come. My fiance and I decided to stop into Van Cott Jewelers on our quest to purchase wedding bands. We are so glad we did, and we couldn't be happier with the purchasing experience that was presented to us through the hard working and very kind staff at this location. Upon our initial visit, we were immediately met by a sales rep who was very patient and very helpful in answering our questions about our purchase. She recommended that we hold off on purchasing as they were having a sale the following week with a bunch of different vendors on site with many more wedding band options. We returned the following week and ended up buying our wedding bands during that event.

I recently had a piece of jewelry appraised by Larry, he is a Certified Gemologist Appraiser. He was extremely professional and took the time to explain the process and terminology that is used in apprising jewelry. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Once again, exceptional experience taking my heirloom ring and cleaning my 20-year old engagement ring to look as beautiful as the incredible day that I received it from my husband! Prices were reasonable for the high quality work done on my rings! I had the most professional, warm and kind salesperson, Abby! She greeted me with a smile and listened to exactly what I wanted! She never pushed anything on me and even gave me suggestions to keep the cost in my price range! Abby treated me like family! Warm and caring on top of explaining fine jewelry tips to help me maintain my rings better! When I say exceptional experience, it was because of Abby and her genuine caring customer service! My fiancé has an engagement ring, and she was concerned about a possible prong issue due to it's snagging on clothing. We decided to go to Van Cott to have it looked at. Even though the ring was not purchased from them they still treated us like royalty, the owner Birdie personally assisted us and we found out the prongs were not done correctly. I asked that they please give us a quote to fix the ring as it was purchased out of state. She promptly met with the jeweler and they gave us a discounted price for the repair. If that wasn't enough after being told it would be a little over a week for the repair they surprised us with it being done in 1 HOUR! I am beyond impressed and will be sharing this experience with anyone whenever the topic of jewelry is brought up. Thank you again Birdie for making her diamond safe and "hugged".

I had purchased a diamond ring for myself and decided based on the wonderful experience I had previously to stop in and have Carol look at the ring. She explained to me about the ring being hollow and how if it was damaged it wouldn't be able to be fixed, then apologized to me about it. I was dumbstruck to have this level of empathy from her when I didn't even buy the ring from them, and they didn't once try to push anything on me. I returned the ring per her advice and decided to give them my business instead. It was a total pleasurable experience with Philippa and Ruthann assisting me, offering me a ring that was well beyond what I had picked for myself, and if that wasn't enough they haggled the price down for me! I'm blown away by the experience and have a true treasure now. Not sure what else to say other than that first trip to have a ring inspected turned into joining the Van Cott family. A+
