11Didnt like the food there, made me sick of the stomach last night. Wine were good. You have to order drinks at the bar.
Spacious wine bar. Setup is a little strange with the food service area in the front. But overall nice place with plenty of seating
Perfect spot for a drink. Cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Drinks are delicious too. Stop in and stay for a while.
I like the energy and the wine selection at Vanguard. A big plus is that it's possible to have a conversation without yelling.
Stopped of because it was cold and wet.nice little place, warm and welcoming. Only had a glass of wine but the food looked great.
Must have been a bad night. Staff was unfriendly and disinterested. Server sat at the other end of the counter and talked to one guy all night.
My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday night. Very nice place and great people. I forgot my favorite purse and the amazing staff found it and kept it safe until the next day. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice wine and small plates.

My boyfriend and I went on a quick trip to NYC before visiting family in the east coast from the west coast. We popped in not expecting much of the wine (we live near Napa and Sonoma which has some of the best wines ever). The ambience and decor was so well done. Then we ordered wine, and it was amazing! So amazing we came back for a night cap all three nights we were there! I think we had a total of 6 bottles of wine. (Hey, we were on vacation!) we ordered some of the small bites and those were tasty as well. My only complaint would be that I can order any and have it shipped to California! Definitely coming back during my next visit to NYC!
