I visited Vanity for the first time in March 2023. I was very pleased with their level of professionalism. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted politely. My service with Krissy was simply AMAZING! She was punctual, attentive, and answered all my questions. She delivered beautiful and
excellent work to both my hands and feet. I have found the nail salon for me.

Amazing work and very patient with my indecision on color. Would definitely recommend and come back. Felt very pampered!

Racist and rude customer service. Kept laughing at me and tried to outcast me from the salon. Breaks my heart that in 2023 people are still like this!

I went there for a hard gel mani and it's maybe the best I've ever gotten. My tech was super meticulous and my nails aren't chunky and weird like they have been at other salons. So happy! Def my new spot when I'm in NYC.

This place is my first and last nail salon. You HAVE to book with either Melissa (@talknailstome) or Sam (idk her @ lol) both are so wonderful, talented, kind, welcoming, and skilled. I am literally typing this with a 3 week old structured gel French mani with not a single chip! Melissa and Sam are the funniest nail techs and always perfectly execute whatever mani I have in mind but also introduce me to new designs and colors that are out of my comfort zone but I end up loving. The beauty bar has the best energy, ambiance, and smells. It also is so reassuring seeing how sanitary everything is and seeing the instruments cleaned in front of me before they touch my hands. Love love love this place and my two beautiful nail techs <3. I send all my friends, family, and patients here.

The nail outcome wasn’t bad. The trouble for me was the mail technician Krissy. Initially she was somewhat polite however her vibe just threw me off. She seems insecure and bitter. The other staff were polite. Krissy’s energy is very negative and not comfortable to be around. Lastly, she didn’t do a bad job however it took her 2 hours to complete the simplest set. She also didn’t complete the design I asked for. She also
Told me she didn’t have time for French when she wrote will take too much time. That blew me away.

It's black owned. And there seems to be so few black owned business so I really like supporting this place. But their work is really good too. Doesn't seem to matter who does my nails. They are all good. But you know. I have my favorite person I like to book. Speaking of booking.depending on what you are getting done you seem to have to book a month out in advance and this place is expensive. 100 dollars for a fill, nails cut down, and French design. That includes the tip. Not complaining, just making an observation. But they listen when you state how you like your nails done. The booking process is done online through their website which I have to admit. I had to learn their nail language. Moderate design? What does that mean? But if you go to their Instagram you can kind of figure it out. Better to book too much time than too little. They are punctual with their appointments which is very nice. They offer a point system so you can get a free service but I don't fully understand it and haven't been able to cash in.

This was my first visit to this salon. It was clean, bright and welcoming. I was seen right on time. Samantha was very nice and answered the many questions I had! She did a great job!

They are very clean, organized and do nails well. Booking an appointment is easy, and while they do get booked up very quickly, there is never a time you would go in and be waiting hours before they start your service. They are ready as soon as your appointment starts. Their nails are very well done, and it would be a little over a month before they start chipping of starting to wear off, so it lasts a long time. Only downside is they charge a lot, but for the quality— I absolutely think it’s worth it.

I live a few minutes away from this business and finally decided to give them a try. It was an incredible experience. The staff is warm and super engaged with their customers. My technician Linden was amazing! I highly-recommend this place.
