Horrible doctor, I am no longer a patient due to her personal misbehavior. Northwell is honestly just as bad.

Looking at some of these reviews, I wonder if it’s the same doctor. She had a great personality and was ready to answer my questions. She got the authorizations I needed from my insurance for my medications. She’s a great doctor. The staff I’ve dealt with in her office are pretty decent too

The inefficient staff of this medical stuff will literally let you die from a diabetes comma Before accommodating an appointment for you. I was under treatment for very high glucose levels and I tried to make an appointment several times, only to be treated very poorly.
The staff supervisor told even told me that I needed an appointment early, I should go to the emergency room!
This is the rudest medical office I’ve ever encountered in my life! There should be some kind of regulation for incompetent medical

I really enjoyed seeing this doctor until I had to deal with her medical staff. This is by far the most rude, insensitive and disrespectful medical office found in New York. Apparently the doctor cut off her hours, and left the patients with no appointments available and without a referral. The next available appointment was 4 months from the day I called (I had to call several times to get an answer). The staff coordinator told me I should go to the emergency room if I needed a doctor prescription before that!

My partner and I are realy dissappointed for the lack of professionalism and ethic of this medical office. The Northwell Health lacks regulations and organization, the medical staff that schedules appointments for Dr. Alexiadis is not properly trained and some of them should be fired (the staff coordinator is heartless and rude). We tried to get an appointment to refill medication for my partner that was extremely important, but they told us we have to wait 5 months for the next appointment. They wouldnt offer us any other option, other than going to the ER to ask for a refill.
They dont care about the patients, and they didnt try to find a solution.
Dont waste your time trying to make an appointment with this Doctor and the NHLIJ System in general.

I’m an elder person on my late 70s, and I tried to make an appointment with the endocrinologist trying to stay with Northwell Health. This is my second endocrinologist that just left her patients hanging in the air with no explanation or no referral to a new doctor.
The medical staff was extremely rude and incompetent, Northwell health should fix this issue and fire specially the staff coordinator (she was so insensitive and careless to a sick and elder person needs)

Dr. Alexiadis was great.until she wasn’t there to see her patients anymore! I had two telehealth visits with her and she did a complete panel for blood test to determine the issue. Then she prescribed me something for it. It work well, until it was the time for the refill and she was NOWHERE to be found. I called her office several times and my pharmacy called then too. The extremely rude office manager told me that she won’t be able to see me until 4 months from now and if I need a prescription I can go to the Emergency room. I tried calling again and I got the same answer.
Conclusion: they don’t care if you are going to die without your medication (luckily my life doesn’t depend on it), they don’t give you alternatives or solutions.
This is not the 1st time a Northwell Health Endocrinologist does that, the 1st doctor I saw left the practice without letting her patients now too!
AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

Why didn’t I check this Dr’s reviews before making an appointment. I was referred to her so I didn’t check she had a 2.5 rating, with scathing reviews of incompetence. If it was only possible to give (-10 stars) the most negligent dr I’ve ever encountered. Doesn’t base her treatment on patients history, of adverse reactions. I am hooked to to Libra link which shows her my daily, blood sugar readings and what dosage of insulin I’ve taken. One medication keeps me steady “ in Target range” the other fluctuates blood sugar to extreme lows and highs.
She can’t decipher that the long lasting insulin is better, so she gives me the rapid acting which makes me sick. Perhaps by Big Pharma Recommendation$$$? Steer clear of this deadly women. The only white jacket she should wear should be a straight jacket. Dangerous, horrible “ Doctor “

Couldn't agree more with these reviews. Just awful. Does not address issues and ran the bare minimum tests. No help at all. She sat at her computer the entire time. I will be seeking an integrative approach to address my symptoms and certainly not this absolute incompetent who spends more time accessorizing than caring for her patients.

She was a nice doctor and had a good bedside manner, but didn't follow up on our visit. When we left the office, she told us she was going to send an rx and she never sent it in.

If you are looking for help with thyroid issues, she's not one who believes in armour thyroid or liothyronine. She took me off liothyronine and put me back on Synthroid. She doesn't feel that testing Leptin levels is advantageous or relevant. When I asked her to test a few other things, she again didn't feel like it would be relevant to check. I just got the feeling that her mindset was, "If it doesn't fit inside the medical box, then there's nothing wrong with you. " So although she was nice and her office was clean, I won't be going back to her.
